Thanks for visiting! 💙
Wonderful, inspiring start to my day at Blue Heron PS. 💙 Excited to see the new mural "Standing on Turtle Island" by August Swinson to celebrate the new school name. Being on the renaming committee was a true highlight for me.

#NewName same great school! Stay tuned for our mascot and logo - this photo is just temporary.
Busses are cancelled for the entire day but our school will be open. Families can decide whether they send their child to school today whether or not they are bus students.

It was a great spirit day today with a variety of cultures and flags represented by our students and staff! #HeritageDay
Proudly sporting my Scottish roots with my Anderson tartan scarf and family crest- ‘Anderson Stand Sure’. @ryewrdsb Can’t wait to see what everyone is wearing!
Friday is our next spirit day! Let’s show our different cultures and dress up as your culture/heritage! Wear Cultural clothes and/or accessories. If this is not possible for you or may not be comfortable at school, you can dress in the colours of your Cultural flag.
The school building is closed today. Check your child’s online learning space (Google Classroom or Brightspace) for work they can do for the day. #iceday
All #WRDSB schools are CLOSED and transportation is CANCELLED. Extended Day Programs, Child Care Centres in our schools, and Education Centre are closed. All our students will participate in self-directed, asynchronous learning. Staff are virtually available during school hours.
One of our Ryerson graduates. Congrats River, we are so proud of you!
Congratulations to River Yu, a Grade 10 student at @Preston_Panther, for competing in a #math contest at @UWaterloo. Out of the thousands of students who wrote the contest, River placed in the Top 6 of everyone across Canada. We're so proud of you! This makes us very #WRDSBhappy!
Parent Council needs your help! Please consider sharing a recipe for our Ryerson recipe book that is being created. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…

Today K3 created sunflowers for the children in Ukraine who are frightened. Each student sent their good thoughts while they created their sunflowers so those children might feel better. K3 is a very caring group. @ryewrdsb
