I’m out. I’m leaving after Tuesday. I have made some great friends here, many of whom are better friends than I have in IRL. You made me laugh, made me cry, informed me, broadened my horizons, and served as reassurance of the goodness that can still be found in people.

So I’ll take my fight elsewhere. Especially to the small day to day interactions I have with people. I truly believe that kindness matters and that the seemingly smallest kind gesture can be quite significant for someone else.

I get asked often when I became a liberal? When did I walk away from my “conservative values?” I didn’t. I have the same values taught me by my New England WWII veteran father and daughter of Italian immigrants mother. The GOP walked away from my values.

Kari Lake is telling you she is an EXTREME, conspiracy theorist. How do we know? She'scampaigning with Steve Bannon & Marjorie Taylor Greene. She endorsed another anti-semite in Penn. She said she wants to lower K-12 standards & arrest leaders from Covid. She is not conservative.
Not a great photo as the weather was uncooperative, but a very cool place nonetheless. The Koppelpoort is a medieval gate in Amersfoort. It was completed around 1425, and employs both land and water-gates.
