Meet the Farmers Ryan Reeder #27 My name is Ryan Reeder, I am a senior WR and Kicker/Punter. I enjoy working out and gaming. Q&A 1. Who has had the biggest influence on you as a football player, and why? The person who has had the most influence on me as a football player would have to be secondary coach and special teams coordinator Tym Toussaint. He has always pushed me to be the best person I can be on and off the field. 2. When the game is on the line, what do you want your teammates to know they can expect from you? When the game is on the line, I want my teammates to know that they can have in me not just if it is my moment or another players moment to shine. 3. What did you work on the most this offseason, and where have you seen the biggest improvement in your game? What I have worked on the most during the offseason has been how I have approached different situations. I have learned from other coaches that I have no need to be frustrated or anxious when it comes to my game. I have seen the most improvement in how my field goals and kickoffs are compared to last year. 4. What do you want people to remember about you when your high school football career is over? What I want people to remember about me when my time is done at Union is that the support of this town is the backbone of the entire football team at Union Parish, and I am just a part of that. 5. Who is a teammate you feel doesn’t get enough recognition? What does he bring to the team? A teammate that I believe does not get enough recognition for his efforts would to be senior OL Jai McDaniel. He brings the game knowledge and integrity to his game. 6. What are your plans after graduation? My plans after graduation are to commit to the University of Louisiana- Lafayette and play football for the Ragin’ Cajuns. I plan to major in secondary education with a minor in business. 7. What’s your favorite memory so far from playing football at Union Parish? My favorite memory from my time at Union would have to be when we beat the Kinder Yellowjackets last year in the quarterfinals in overtime. 8. What are the top 3 songs on your pregame playlist that get you ready for Friday night? My top 3 songs that I use to get locked in for Friday nights would have to be Dreams and Nightmares by Meek Mill, In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins, and Lion by Elevation Worship. 9. Do you have any pregame rituals, routines, or superstitions that help you get locked in before kickoff? The main ritual that I do before a game is that I go to the goalposts and pray always 2 hours before the game. 10. Nominate one teammate you think should be spotlighted next on Meet the Farmers. The person that I would nominate for the next Meet the farmers would have to be Jai McDaniel.
