Not quite sure why the Rays took Caminero out of position to cover 3B with 2 outs & a 1-2 count on Adell. If they are going to throw at all it is probably better to throw to 2B since Ramiez is a plus runner & DeLauter is below. Also it doesn’t take Williamson out of position to cover 2B. Ramirez is most likely running on his own & DeLauter is not running. Usually the runner on 2B has a subtle signal for the runner on 1B that he is running so he can break when the runner on 2B breaks. Aranda was far enough in the 4 hole that DeLauter would have been safe at 2B. As it turned out he was able to score anyway.
This is great. Parallels to pitch selection with really good hitters with limited holes.
There is a GoFundMe for Gabriel Barbosa, a Phillies minor leaguer who was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer and is expecting his first child with his wife this month. The fundraiser was organized by a Rockies executive who originally signed Barbosa: gofundme.com/f/help-gabriel-…

Side view camera angle of Colton Cowser's home run robbery that the highlight clips are missing:
Ppl laugh but this is pretty much what it’s like when you ask a guy why he can’t play summer ball away from home..
Insane: Fake 49ers WR Daejon Love sent his barber a long voice note explaining why he was never listed on an NFL roster.
Love claimed NFL “waivers” have physical, mental and emotional portions and said he failed the physical part after breaking and dislocating his pinky finger.
Daejon even told his barber that he practiced and traveled with the team, stayed in team hotels, and followed team curfew.

On August 8th, Mollie and I welcomed Keelie Ann Shepherd into the world! ❤️ After complications during delivery, Keelie spent 10 days in the NICU before we finally got to bring her home.
On the 21st, Mollie was rushed to the ER and diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia.
She’s still in the hospital, but we’re hopeful she’ll be home with us soon.
Someone was kind enough to create a SupportNow page for our family. There is absolutely no expectation for anyone to give, but for those who have asked how they can help, I wanted to share it.
We’re incredibly thankful for all the prayers, messages, meals, and support. Right now, we’re just ready to get Mollie healthy and have our whole family home together. ❤️

The fact that there are 20 more angles and way better quality cameras on plays at the little league World Series compared to the d3 World Series is laughable. It’s understandable but laughable.
The amount of people posting videos of Paul Skenes “problems” is alarming. I’ve seen everything from the hot dogs being the issue to a frontal lobe issue. Baseball twitter is a scary place.
