people could have rooted their samsung tizen TVs any time this year, but they didn't.

I enumerated the inputs on two remotes. I can make it know what is focused on the current hdmi input. play/pause the exact youtube video or mpv player that is focused currently. Soon I'm going to be flipping through tmux agent windows with a TV remote that I point at multiple tvs
My TV runs pulseaudio, but it doesn't have the module to bridge to jack easily. The actual problem I'm solving is that the blackwell card has unreliable audio over Displayport->HDMI on Linux so I'm just routing around that by using a USB Dante AVIO adapter plugged into the workstation and the rooted TV. So the TV gets video from HDMI but audio from USB over the network.
This has the side benefit of decoupling what HDMI input is being displayed on the TV from which audio source it's getting. The actual signal chain now is Workstation with jack -> USB -> Dante -> USB -> jack -> bridge DLL that runs under dotnet for unsigned code execution -> pulseaudio tizenaudio-sink -> actual speakers.
I'm typing into x dot com on chromium from arch linux. Say I type 'teh', it should automatically correct to 'the' automatitclaly (now I select that typo'd word and press a chord. box pops up
automatitclaly automatically
I click apply. The original typo gets fixed and it gets added to my list of typos.
tail -n2 ~/.config/nvim/plugins-local/autocorrect/abbrev wrontg wrong automatitclaly automatically
wc -l ~/.config/nvim/plugins-local/autocorrect/abbrev 54391 /home/chris/.config/nvim/plugins-local/autocorrect/abbrev
every typo gets corrected once then gets automiatically fixed everywhere forever. I could be writing an email, x post, code, it always does what I expect and never makes a mistake (if it does I remove the bad correction immediately). I have enough words in the list that I can lazily type whatever and most of it gets corrected without doing anything special as soon as I press the spacebar to go to the next word.
That wasn't good enough. I have multiple computers and I'm using codex a lot. I got the codex repo and added the autocorrect as a feature in there. nvim, codex, the browser extension, they all talk to either websocket or redis and get updates on the typo/correction pairs when they're added/modified/deleted. This changes the original nvim plugin iabbrev file as the source of truth on each host and keeps them synced.
So I could make a typo in an x post, add it to the list, then make the same typo in codex or nvim or another browser tab on a different computer and it gets fixed automatically.
