🚨 Pet Pulverizer Update 🚨 This week we begin distributing the six Pet Pulverizers. None will be held or detonated by anyone on the Pizza Pets core team. It will be up to the individual holders how and when to use them. 1⃣ Updated Mechanics for Season 1 Each Pulverizer has a type corresponding to the color of the art (white, black, yellow, red, green, blue). Once triggered via Inscription, Pulverizers will detonate in 72 blocks (~12 hours), leading to the death of all vulnerable Pets with the respective weakness type (red kills red, green kills green, etc.) Four ways to avoid/make your Pet invulnerable to the Pulverizer: 1. Lotion: Inscribe your Pet with Lotion (lasts for 36 blocks ~6 hours) 2. LSD & Molly: Keep your Pets at the Egg or Baby stage 3. Immortal: Evolve to Immortal Stage 4. Immune: Own a Pet with a Weakness Type of "Immune" 2⃣ Notifications & UI Changes Once triggered, every Pulverizers will display inside every Pet's Ordinal next to the Poop below your Pet's Hearts. The exact block of triggering and detonation will display in the History Menu of every Pet after it occurs. This happens regardless of your Pet's weakness type, so be sure to check it. We will also make an update to the colors of all Pet's shell art (the casing around your Pet) so that they match the Weakness Type of your Pet, making it easier to know which Pets are affected by a given Pulverizer. Several community members have already made free notification apps to let you know when a Pulverizer is triggered. You can ask around in the Discord to gain access. These apps have not been tested by our team, so we can not guarantee that they work, but it's worth exploring. 3⃣ Pulverizer Recharge Period Each Pulverizer can be used an unlimited number of times, however, it must go through a Recharge Period after each use before it can be used again. White Pulverizer - 5 Weeks Black & Yellow - 6 Weeks Red, Green, & Blue - 7 Weeks To evolve from Baby to Immortal takes a total of 10 weeks, or 6.66 weeks on Steroids. *Hint: You can use LSD on a Baby to pause it right before it evolves into a Child, reducing the total time to around 9 weeks or 6 weeks on Steroids. 4⃣ Distribution Method Red, Green, & Blue Pulverizers will be distributed for free to individuals in the community through the following challenges: 1. Discovery of Ralf's Seed Phrase 2. Discord Raffle to Team Ralf or Team Ninjalerts (Determined by community vote) 3. The address with the greatest number of dead Pets White, Black, & Yellow Pulverizers will be sold via traditional auction to raise funds for continued game development. Auctions will have no reserve and start at a 0.01 BTC bid. 5⃣ Summary & Conclusion The Pet Pulverizers are not intended to be easy to overcome. However, given there are six of them, the maximum impact of each Pulverizer is limited to 16.67% of the Pet population. While it’s possible some might occur when you're not expecting it, it’s not an all-or-nothing scenario. There are multiple ways to avoid the Pulverizers that each require strategic planning. While challenging, it is NOT an instant death mechanic and gives all players the opportunity to succeed at the game based on their timing and engagement.
