True crime, paranormal legends, and Texas Tech history? Sign me up! ❤️🖤👻📚 For as long as I can remember, I've heard the legend of the woman murdered in Texas Tech's Science Building in 1967, whose ghost is said to appear in a window during Carol of Lights. But until today, I didn't know her name. Sarah Alice Morgan. I recently discovered Fatal Exam: Solving Lubbock's Greatest Murder Mystery by Alan Burton and Chuck Lanehart, and of course, I immediately bought the Kindle version! I'm already hooked! What fascinates me most is how the authors weave together the murder investigation, the personal stories of those involved, and the history of Lubbock and Texas Tech. I've already discovered some surprising connections to familiar names in TTU history! I love true crime. I love paranormal stories. And I will ALWAYS love Texas Tech. This book combines all three! But beyond the mystery and the campus legend, there's something even more important: Sarah Alice Morgan was a real person whose life was tragically taken. After all these years of hearing the ghost story, I'm glad I finally know her name. Wreck 'Em! ❤️🖤 #FatalExam #SarahAliceMorgan #TexasTech #WreckEm #TrueCrime #LubbockHistory #Paranormal

The cyber hacks are here. I'm not one for panic. But make sure you have some cash (small bills), toilet paper, water, food, and medications filled.
Polymarket was forced to halt trading on its international platform Thursday for nearly an hour because of what it said was a third-party compromise. There were also unconfirmed reports from users on Polymarket’s Discord channel who said their wallets had been drained. nbcnews.com/business/consume…

This is not just a crypto hack. It's a warning for the entire web. Banks, governments, hospitals, payment apps.. We've just witnessed firsthand that all of it runs on code that can be exploited. Security is about to become the most important industry in the world.

Wow. I had a flashback. I thought I was at my grandmother’s dairy farm again. Those green beans and potatoes look just like what she used to cook. She made the best cornbread too. There wasn’t any ham in it and we didn’t have any meat for supper. We just had those beans and cornbread. They were good enough for me. We lived a different way back then. I miss those days.

Three international bridges between Matamoros and Brownsville, Texas, were shut down for hours today as the Gulf Cartel tried to break a prisoner out of Mexican military custody. Mexican authorities arrested Axel "Titan" Cárdenas, son of Matamoros Gulf Cartel boss "El Contador." Gunmen torched vehicles, blocked streets and threw road spikes to keep soldiers from reaching the airport. It didn't work. He was flown to Mexico City.

Due to a commercial power outage, Washington Union Station is currently without power. As a result, ticket counters, station display boards, restrooms, the food court, and other station amenities maybe unavailable. Train service continues to operate, however could see a minimal impact. Customers are encouraged to take extra time and use caution when moving throughout the station and on platforms, as lighting and station services may be limited. the binance hacker just did something genius and it should scare you tether froze $1.5 billion in stolen USDT. circle froze $800 million in USDC. everyone's celebrating like the problem is solved meanwhile the hacker deposited the stolen USDT on aave, borrowed ETH against it, and walked away. because USDT can be frozen. ETH can't he's never paying it back. he doesn't need to tether and circle just proved they can freeze billions in seconds. and the hacker just proved that if you know how defi actually works, none of that matters the freeze saved some of the money. but the smartest money was already gone before anyone pressed the button

I tried to warn people last week. This will become a part of daily life. As an AI researcher at one of the largest AI labs in the world, I can assure you - it's about to get a LOT worse. They won't tell the truth but I will - the world is undergoing an agentic swarm attack (ASA)
JUST IN: Binance issues statement following suspected crypto hack. "Our teams are aware of reports of a potential security issue and are actively investigating.
