exciting news from WWDC (!!) 🎉
Apple finally made Product Page Headers available for every app on the App Store!
they can also be different for each Custom Product Page (CPP), and you could use either a static image or a video!
this opens up so many new ways to optimize your App Store page! 🚀
would you try this?
Has this ever happened to anyone here?
You design a UI, screenshots, or app icon… you’re sure it looks really good.
Then a few months later you open it again and you just don’t understand how you ever thought it was good. WTH was I thinking?
I went back to my App Store pages and realized almost all of them need a full redesign. New icons, new screenshots, everything.
I’m redesigning everything from scratch. full refresh.
First post of the Level Up to $10K MRR series dropped yesterday. ✅
Next post will be the first one in the $1K MRR App Founder series. 💰
I’ll start sharing foundational tips that are helpful for reaching that goal.

One of the most underrated advanced metrics to optimize is Deletions / Installations ratio.
This is simply deletions divided by installations. A high ratio is a strong warning sign that many users are not sticking with your app.
High ratio = wasted installs + hurting your ASO.
How to find it:
→ Go to App Store Connect → [Your App] → Analytics → Metrics → Usage
→ Select Deletions
→ Click the three dots (...) → Choose Compare → Select Installations → Choose Ratio (Deletions / Installations)
1/3
Focus on these core areas to lower the ratio: 📉
• Smooth onboarding that clearly demonstrates the key value and benefits upfront
• Delivering immediate value fast (especially your most important and relevant features)
• Reducing crashes and technical issues
• Making key features obvious and easy to access right away
• Adding new relevant features that make the app significantly more valuable to the user
Global improvements: 🚀
→ Increase the value users get in their first session
→ Highlight the most important features more clearly
→ Cleaner and more intuitive UI
→ Remove unnecessary steps and friction
2/3
** Advanced tip: **
Segment this metric by country. 🌎
Higher deletion/installation countries often reveal:
→ Poor localization or bad translations
→ UI elements that break or look awkward in that language
→ Buttons or text too small on popular devices in that region
→ Regional UX expectations not being met
Fix country-specific issues while improving the app globally = fastest way to drop this ratio.
