It’s best to stay on the sidewalks and only cross the road at intersections. Wait for the walk signal before stepping on the road. We hope you have a great weekend.
...
Lo mejor es permanecer en las aceras y cruzar la calle solo en las intersecciones. Espera a que se encienda la señal de peatones antes de pisar la calle. Esperamos que tengas un excelente fin de semana.
Great night honoring Joe Holt at @ctx_commission in memory of Cary Roberts.

The safety of Longhorns is our highest priority. Overnight, an Austin resident reportedly suffering from a mental health crisis made threats against our campus and others. The Austin Police Department arrested him early this morning and is the primary investigative agency. This individual has no affiliation with the University. We are thankful to our partners at APD for their swift action to protect our Longhorn community. We will continue to monitor this case as it moves through the justice system.
UTPD routinely coordinates with our local, state and federal law enforcement partners, exchanging information and monitoring potential threats to ensure every person on our campus is safe and feels safe and supported. As always, we encourage all Longhorns to always be vigilant and report anything suspicious by calling 911 or texting UTPD through the UT LiveSafe app.

Texas is back at DKR this weekend. 🤘☀️
If you’re heading to the game, stay ahead of the heat. Keep water with you, use sunscreen, take breaks when you can, and find shade or air conditioning if you start feeling overheated. UTPD officers will be in and around DKR throughout game day to support a safe environment for our community.
Stay hydrated and enjoy the game, Longhorns!
