There is simply too much to build

This era of software feels so much like my 2011 days when I was just starting to learn about shipping to the web. I just couldn't get enough, and I spent all of my free time building anything and everything I could. Same vibes, drastically different scale.

Over to Safari I guess
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

It's never been easier or more fun to spend hours and hours building things that won't move the needle

As if I needed a bigger Claude dopamine hit
10x productivity tip: use Claude hooks with sounds so Claude alerts you when it finishes a task or needs permission. But that's not the tip, the tip is to add your favourite childhood game sounds like the Starcraft, Warcraft, or even Mario.

We’ve got a full team of Laravel developers and designers ready to ship @springloadedco starting March 1. If you need help navigating the current landscape, pushing a project across the finish line, or a boost to your team, I’d love to chat!

Simon is the kind of teacher I'll keep watching no matter how the world changes. He's a perfect personification of the internet I want to see every day. If you’re hiring an educator in tech and care about who represents your brand, I don't know what you're waiting for.
I... have been laid off from Laracasts. 😭 Pretty bummed out, but AI did, in fact, take my job. I'm looking for a new opportunity! ♥️

For me, writing software was like hand crafting a table with painstaking attention to detail. Ornate legs and complex joinery. Revelling in the process. Now it feels a bit more like working at a table factory where you press a button on machine and it spits out a table.

I’m amazed at what the factory can spit out. And I think that’s probably good - more tables for more people. Output is way up. I’ve certainly embraced it. And also, I miss the before times. Coda open with a cup of coffee. That era. Didn’t even have autocomplete. What a time.

Just over five years since every single part of my life changed in a single breath.
Vue Select ain't dead, but I almost was! github.com/sagalbot/vue-sele… 5 days ago I was struck by a fast moving vehicle while on my bike. I fractured my skull, neck, pelvis, 2 vertebrae and dislocated my hip. The amazing news is that I'm already back home on the path to recovery!

It’s tough to put into words just how challenging those years have been, and the amount of work it’s taken to get where I am now. The amazing #LaraconUS talks from @ThePrimeagen and @kapehe_ok have me thinking it’s about time to start sharing more about it.

It's been a few years now since I've had a social presence in the developer community, what better way to dive back in than having a few hundred people scan an enormous QR code on the back of our shirts? Looking forward to catching up with everyone @LaraconUS!
Morning @LaraconUS folks! Hope everyone has safe travels! The @springloadedco team is giving away $1,000 in Apple accessories for three lucky attendees. You can enter by scanning a large QR code that you’ll see throughout the conference (don’t worry, you can’t miss it!).

I'm a few days into using Arc from @browsercompany and I'm absolutely hooked. This thing is a developers dream. Profiles + spaces is magic, command palette is amazing, screen shot library is great. Only thing I miss is @FirefoxDevTools.
