Highly recommended! Two PhD positions to join the lab of my colleague benjamin gorissen. Great scientist and mentor, killing it on soft robotics. Come, join us at Kuleuven!
In the framework of my @ERC_Research starting grant (ILUMIS), I am looking for 2 PhDs. Both will be transforming the field of soft robotics by harnessing nonlinearities in a fluidic network, one focusing on interconnections, the other on fluids. Interested? See links bellow

Our Exo4Work shoulder #exoskeleton evaluation is now published in @IEEEembs #TBME! 🔗ieeexplore.ieee.org/document… The exo reduced acute physical fatigue at the shoulder during overhead work. But discomfort increased ➡️ let's improve interfaces in a future prototype iteration 🤩

Before you feel drawn to be enchanted by the apparent intelligence of slime molds, compare with this baseline. Very simple mechanical search can look surprisingly agentic.
