Today, we officially signed a landmark partnership agreement with Sterling Bank! Sterling Bank is committing ₦60 million in prizes for the 2027 South East Mathematics & Science Olympiad. In addition, the bank is committing ₦24 million to our National Mathematics Quiz, where outstanding students will receive ₦1 million in prizes every month. But it gets even better! Our star students will now have access to internship opportunities at Sterling Bank, while winners of the South East Mathematics & Science Olympiad will receive an additional one-year scholarship. What a bank! What a commitment to the future of Nigerian children! We will continue to double down on our efforts to build the greatest workforce in Africa by 2036. We are deliberately investing in the next generation of mathematicians, scientists, engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers. And I have just one request for everyone reading this: Open an account with Sterling Bank. Encourage your family members, friends, and colleagues to bank with Sterling. When a bank makes this level of commitment to the education and future of our children, it deserves our support. This is the kind of corporate investment that can transform a generation. Sterling Bank is not just banking on Nigerians. It is investing in the future of Nigeria. Thank you, Sterling Bank. Our children will remember this investment.

“If You Think Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke Is Supporting Tinubu Because He Loves Him Or Doesn’t Care About The Suffering Of The People, Then You’re Wrong. Governor Adeleke Is a Man Trying To Survive Politically. Do You Know That Osun State Is The Only State In Nigeria Where All 30 Local Government Areas Are Unable To Access Their Federal Allocations? Since February 2025, Over ₦216 Billion In Accumulated Allocations Has Been Withheld From Osun State By The Federal Government, Hindering The Governor From Executing Several Projects In The State.”

Was it, improper? Depends on who you ask. Some people are into wild, spontaneous hookups. Please let’s just… stop! Not up to 24 hours ago, people were casually tweeting their sexual escapades with total strangers at a rave, and now it’s criminal asking a stranger “that you’ve been flirting with” for a car makeout?? How do you imagine “sex with strangers” happen?? Smoke signals? A mating howl? Mind you, he apologized the moment he realized he’d over stepped. Multiple times, according to the complainant. He didn’t push, he didn’t double down. He apologized. Does it make his character questionable? Again, depends on who you ask, there’re people who’re into these things. Does it make him an offender? How??? Be grossed out all you want, it’s your discretion. He didn’t con her to a private place to harass her under false pretense. We scream consent all day, and he was upfront with his intentions. He didn’t take her for a “walk” or a “talk” only to become sexual. He asked from the jump! “Do you want to go”??? Yes or no! Questionable? Depends. Criminal? Please let’s be serious. You people should stop indulging a clout hungry bird. She even admitted to telling him, he has “nice lips”. Ahhahahha! What do you think telling someone they have nice lips means? Documentative journalism? When you compliment people’s erogenous zone, you’re flirting! Tf? What’re we doing??? Abeg!

Educate your daughters: regretting consensual sex afterward doesn’t make it rape. Regret and sexual assault are not the same thing.

Governor Alex Otti is not highly admired by civil servants in Abia State, as they claim he is constantly auditing every ministry and agency. He runs the state's bureaucracy like a business, to the anger of those who see government jobs as a source of free money. He withholds salary for every default. But others praise him for conducting the most transparent employment exercises; my friend received an offer from Abia State University and his first salary—which he said was even higher than what was stated in his employment letter—without paying anyone or knowing anyone. I have met and know many people who secured teaching jobs in primary and secondary schools without paying bribes, which was the norm previously. The physical aesthetics of Aba have not improved much, but the roads are way better and the environment is cleaner. The brash brushing culture still remains; people run in front of Keke Napep. There are no marked pedestrian crossings. There is this calm. The generator noise has almost disappeared from all the clothing-making areas in Kent, York, Tennant, Cameron, Azikiwe or Pounds Road; even St. Michael's is quiet now. There is a predictable pattern in electricity supply; even when the supply is interrupted, people wait patiently for it to return because it is going to be restored. It has been raining for an hour now and is continuing as I type this, but we have power. Lastly, I think he is investing in more citizen-centered infrastructure [the schools with running water, the hospitals with electricity and consumables, the developments outside the urban areas] rather than "legacy projects." The results of these will be evident in years to come, not immediately.
