What exactly would he benefit from Internet fight that would make him associate with these people you're talking about? And who exactly is he fighting with?
I've seen intelligent people sound very dumb when stanship is involved and you're a perfect example. Buju, Fido, Shalli, Mavo, Dj Tunez, Tufab, Wande Coal and others started disrespecting Davido the moment they started rolling with Wiz but you're too blind and bias to see that.
When Wizkid come online to troll and chase clout you will be seeing tweets like "who vex popsi, faruq don tie Igbo for machala again" and all sort of justification. But when it's Davido you all will turn to moral police.
One of the most dangerous people are the ones that move in silence and Wizkid is a perfect example. There might be a lot of bad things this guy has plotted and done in silence but it's Davido that is a bad person because he's the loud one.
Carter started streaming and was gaining motion till Davido streamed with him and extended his motion, Davido linked up with VDM because he was impressed with what VDM was doing back then, Geh Geh has mad clout but Davido including his name to his lyrics extended his visibility, he has given access to many creators, influencers and artist and some of them made a good use of it. It's not his fault that some of them including VDM decided to be unfortunate with it.
Your fave cannot mention one creator, artist or influencer he has uplifted since the beginning of his career and that's very shameful for a celebrity of his caliber. Even @carterefe__ has uplifted more people than your fave. Big Wiz my ass
On Davido & VDM. I have my thoughts together now.
It's no longer news that Davido, despite being one of the biggest superstars out of Africa somehow knows how to bring ant-infested rotting wood into his house.
A lot of you attribute it to "humility" but it really isn't - it is a psychological pattern I'll call maladaptive approval seeking disorder. It is the kleptomaniac version of validation hunting.
You know how kleptomaniacs are wired - it doesn't matter how much they are fed, how much wealth they're born into, how much of money they have access to - they NEED to steal to satisfy an urge.
That's how people with maladaptive approval seeking disorders behave.
It doesn't matter how many people cheer them up, the strength of their fanbase, how much love they get - they never seem to run out of the thirst for validation even if its from nonentities.
Davido, as an embodiment of this disorder, cannot stomach the fact that there are people who don't like him or don't necessarily fuck with him - to him, how is that possible? This is why he wants to be the knight posturing as someone's savior publicly even though he intends to ghost them (Madrina), buys the loyalty of presumed internet popular nuisances just to feed that disorder - like a kleptomaniac would.
It is a deep seated insecurity that predisposes him to eventual disrespect. In reality, he doesn't even rate himself. He doesn't enjoy who he is or what he has, unless he has to smash it in someone's face.
The disrespect he's getting, he actually deserves - because the very reason he associated with those nuisances in the first place was to use them as internet weapons in his media fights.
It is also poetically hilarious that my analogy for this tweet is the psychology of kleptomaniacs because he's also a thief, too.

There’s an interesting gap in your psychological interpretation. VDM didn’t need Davido’s friendship to criticise him. A man whose public identity thrives on confrontation can throw stones from outside the gate just as easily as from inside the compound.
Davido’s accommodating personality predates VDM. Perhaps he enjoys validation, perhaps his generosity feeds his ego, or perhaps he genuinely enjoys connecting with people. Why must his openness be interpreted as an inability to tolerate rejection?
And there’s something revealing about analysing someone’s insecurity only to conclude that he deserves humiliation. Sometimes our existing perception of someone influences the psychology we attribute to them.
An open door may bring trouble closer, but a closed door doesn’t guarantee peace.

Esq, distinguishing figurative intent from literal, is simple. And please, drop your abstract examples of metaphor; the case at hand involves two real, verifiable conditions.
If a teacher says 'my class is a zoo,' and a staff says 'no, students are not animals,' the teacher won’t produce animal charts to prove her point, she just laughs and says 'it’s just a figure of speech.'
But when Mum Zee said 'pregnancy is not a death sentence' and people kept giving cases of maternal mortality to prove her wrong. You didn’t take that as a sign that the exchange wasn’t about a metaphor but a literal assertion of fact??.
When a dispute is fought using factual evidence, it is a literal debate over actual outcomes, not a literary exercise. You don’t use factual evidence to argue “the class is a zoo”, nor “life is a journey” nau😂.
It was AFTER sufficient medical opinion saturated the air on the subject that they tried taking the “literary” license to evade the critic of the travesty.
