Sometimes, we appreciate people's acts of kindness with a "thank you" or acknowledge our failures with "am sorry". Doesn't cost a thing but very important.

ICU care at UGX 30,000 at Lacor hospital. Other hospitals charge UGX 1M—10M per day. Lacor hospital is the true Private-Not-For-Profit (PNFP) in Uganda.

You people will make OO not enjoy & work abroad with threats. Let him first finish his duties. These are small matters to be handled internally @OfwonoOpondo

UEDCL engineer or their sub contractor are more into money making, one can't talk about work to be done without first negotiating their own cut from government paid job.

Minsa Kabanda, if there any slightest form of credibility in the Ugandan courts of law, she must be thrown out of parliament. Too much forgery or un-coordinnated data on her academic records
81
But how were Umeme transformers able to light us up without frequent load shedding that UEDCL has take a full year to restore that brings up daily load shedding 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️

What are you being protected from having a lead car with other two vehicles full of armed security personnel yet after work, you come to buy groceries from the kafunda without any security personnel
91
You shall not lead this country threatening everyone. We get tired of those threats most times, much as we had started appreciating a few issues you were handling

Uganda with very funny job postings. commissioner's/minister's/ department head or office at the ICT/ education ministry who still struggles with computer usage

Time has come when Muslim scholars need to omit a few readings from the Quran especially that part of prophet Muhammad sleeping/marrying a six year old. It doesn't sit well with right minds & it can't be defended.

Very funny that all these fake Ugandan & Nigerian pastors construct their huge churches around slum areas to siphon money from the poor illiterates who still believe in "receiving" through prayer but not a single of those pastors sleeps around such areas.

Some Ugandan Universities offering ICT but their websites are down, offices take a week to reply an email.... In this era you still want us to knock onto your doors for inquiries??

Nigeria tops African countries with students who try to apply for scholarships abroad

The more you travel to western Uganda during daytime, the more you appreciate how terrible land fragmentation is around central Uganda. Beautiful paddocks, beautiful scenery, beautiful green 💚

Kenya & Uganda should start re-enforcment of their immigration officers at the nearest border posts used by Somaliaans to cross. Alshabab activities will soon start after Ugandan's UPDF withdrawal from that country

We thank the UPDF for the great works done pacifying Somalia over the last 10+ yrs @MODVA_UPDF @cdfupdf steady pull out with our heads up high as a nation. Kudos

It is important to clearly distinguish between the bilateral Ugandan forces and the Ugandan contingent deployed under the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM). The personnel currently redeploying are primarily bilateral forces operating under separate arrangements between the Governments of Somalia and Uganda. The Ugandan contingent serving under AUSSOM, however, remains in Somalia and continues to discharge its mandate alongside other contributing partner forces and the Somali National Army (SNA). Therefore, the redeployment of bilateral forces should not be misconstrued as a complete withdrawal of Ugandan military personnel from Somalia. Today, I chaired a Tripartite meeting involving the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), AUSSOM and the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS). During the meeting, we reaffirmed our collective commitment to strengthening the tripartite coordination mechanism as a platform for enhanced cooperation, strategic planning, and effective logistical support to AUSSOM and the Somali National Army. We also underscored the critical importance of sustained, predictable and adequate international support in advancing Somalia’s security transition, consolidating the gains made through ongoing offensive operations, and strengthening the operational capacity of Somali security forces. Our collective efforts remain essential to supporting Somalia’s path towards sustainable security, lasting peace and long-term stability.

Currently Uganda has got 2.2 million registered refugees. We also might have nearly 4000 illegal immigrants, those come came within with a pretext of visiting a relationship but never returned home. Huge numbers of Congolese, Ethiopians, Eritreans use that method for entry.

For your own safety, avoid being served your water, wine/beer in glasses in your drinking spots. Hygiene sometimes isn't the best. Drink from that bottle for smaller bottles
