They’re completely clueless. I’ve no faith that any of the hierarchy know what they’re doing.
In short, United were considering Amorim as one of the options to replace Ten Hag but decided not go fo for him, then decided not to replace Ten Hag at all, only to sack him 3 months later and go for Amorim, in addition to sacking the director of football who wanted to bring Howe instead of Amorim, then sacked Amorim a year later and thought about hiring Nagelsmann, but since he was unavailable, went for Carrick, who himself might be on the verge of getting sacked a year later, only for the club to go back to Howe, even though the guy they wanted after Amorim is now available. The way this has been going, a decision to offer another contract to Ten Hag would not come as a massive surprise. Elite planning and execution, best in class.

I love Carrick but this can’t carry on. Put him (& us) out of our misery.

Only 25 as well. Playing 20+ games in the Championship less than 5 years ago. Some fall. That first season with Barrow, he looked superb but what followed didn’t do anybodies careers any good, did it?

That statement is so damning. A seismic day in Premier League history. Given the strength of the statement the punishment is going to like nothing we’ve seen before.

Sir Alex Ferguson 2012, Brendan Rodgers '14, Jose Mourinho '18, Jurgen Klopp '19 & '22, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer '21 & Mikel Arteta '23 all finished second in the PL without systematic cheating. Then there's cup finals. They, their players and staff deserve justice and recognition.

This is why they’ve never disclosed how the stadium will be payed for 😂
Exclusive @TheAthleticFC Manchester United have conducted internal assessments of possible financial losses incurred during period in which Man City guilty of Premier League rule breaches, including missed PL title wins & a missed CL qualification. nytimes.com/athletic/7630254…

Be interested to know what genuine match going fans think of this. Especially in the all seater stadium. Used to piss me off people going in and out of the aisle during the game. Will add to this even more.
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham is set to scrap the law that bans football fans from drinking in the stands "I don’t see how it can be fair that some supporters of one sport can be treated differently"

I did a thing.
I built a game for @FourFourTwo – all you have to do is select an XI that has scored 442 goals in Premier League history. Lot of work went into this: should you keep you occupied for the long international break (or at the very least, your lunch break) fourfourtwo.com/quiz/442goal…

Do you know, it amazes me how often I watch Man Utd stroll through games. They’re so so passive it’s unreal. And it can’t just be the manager, because it happens time after time regardless of who is in the dug out.

Chuffed for Shea Lacey. Been with the club since he was 7. Be the first of many goals in the Man Utd shirt.

See what you’re saying Craig but still don’t think it would make much difference. You’d still get differing views. I’m in two minds about it. I’ve always thought with the amount of money at stake there needs to be VAR but then as you say, the people running it aren’t up to it.
