robinhood wants to help bring traditional financial assets onchain and standard reserve wants to build the liquidity infrastructure that makes those assets actually usable
also i think they can become the #1 liquidity coordinator for all of crypto if it makes sense
the long term bet isnt simply on how many billions of dollars get tokenized but how much economic activity those assets can support once theyre onchain
robinhood helps enable issuance and standard reserve wants to power the liquidity behind the markets
Vampire pools beware: URC-5 is live on Robinhood Chain and @Uniswap v4.
Wonder how they'll feel about the new launch for the stock token overnight/market hours split.
They're gonna love standard.

"imagine you take a stock token and make it programmable, like software, what can you do?" - vlad
i discuss in the paper below what i believe is a genuinely new financial primitive that is now only possible because of stock tokenization
i present, Isolated Exposure Tokens
Think urc5 will be the standard for more serious coins launched on evm going forward. Dont see a project launching without wanting protection for easy revenue to help fund project/creator or whatever mechanics are used as a hook that will use these fees.
Evm so dead after RH for coins so hasn't really taken off. I don't expect it to stay that way.
Some ppl have a valid gripe about cost of things but some of these are funny.
Entire argument is they can't afford the same house in NY their parents bought decades ago.
I can write up a post for the times about how I can't buy Amazon stock at 2001 prices if they want.
Gonna guess these ppl will be OK.
I'm in my 40s. I'm a lawyer. My wife is a lawyer. We both work full time.
We cannot afford the house my parents purchased on a single electrician's income in their 30s.
We cannot afford the house my immigrant grandparents purchased on a single MTA bus driver's salary in their 30s. They had SIX CHILDREN.
For 30 years, politicians in Washington & their oligarch allies convinced regular people that this was just about avocado toast and fancy coffee.
In reality, this is end-stage capitalism. Everyone is stuck in place. It's impossible to buy a home. It's too costly to move. We work too much to have passion projects. We don't have enough savings to start our own businesses. We can't afford to go without healthcare to do it.
Thanks for writing this article @troy_closson. Would be very happy to discuss further.

Hey Json
It’s been 14+ hours since it’s been publicly proven beyond a reasonable doubt that $FPUMP is not bundled.
Can you let me know what time today our pnl will be fixed?
Also if you’d like we could have a discussion about how pnl was removed the exact moment my squad hit #1 when the coin caught momentum and ran from 1M to 7M and removing the public pnl negatively impacted the coin.
And lastly we could also discuss how you removed the pnl when you did 0 due diligence on its launch mechanism and apparently have no one on staff at pump fun who can read evm smart contracts or figure out what is actually a bundle vs what isn’t.
If you don’t want to discuss these other things, you can just restore our pnl and we can carry on.
Fuck pumpfun.
Replying to @The__Solstice
this has been fixed, it was a bug on our end due to you transferring the position in pre-competition
note that any other transfers in post-start are not counted - only off-platform holdings held before the competition started are counted as we didn't want to see tokens get sold off and rebought during the competition.
Democrats historically have been more associated with progress and innovation. Yet here we are.

If AI produces some type of drug discovery breakthrough in the next 2 years I think it would strongly impact perceived regulatory risk from dems getting back into power. Will be hard being full on anti-AI if it is curing cancer. Not an expert in drug discovery tho idk how likely.

Fascinating your marketing says trade internet trends but then when someone does so fairly you remove their pnl from your contest because you don’t like that specific trend.
Fuck pumpfun.
it was brought to my attention that a token launched on standard's launchpad was removed from pumpfun's competition for "bundling" because 80% of its supply sits in one place
i want to clarify what this actually is, and why its the complete opposite of a bundle and actually a beneficial mechanism
first, what a bundle is: a deployer buys most of the supply across multiple wallets at launch, hides that theyre connected, waits for buyers, then dumps on them (or in the *optimistic* case, uses them for "supply control"). bundles are opaque and hide a token's real float
standard's launchpad lets deployers do what's called a "charter drop" which is the complete opposite of a bundle:
- charters are nfts held by participants in the @standard_rsv ecosystem. each holder has spent over 3 eth to join the protocol, and they've proven to be aligned, long term supporters of the projects they like
- deployers can choose to airdrop a percentage of supply (up to 80%) to charter holders. these tokens are locked in a vault contract, and charter holders cant access them unless they BURN their charter
- the airdrop isnt controlled by the deployer. the tokens sit in a single public contract, 0xb8748E02f07dd80F1DB99A49F92546B2210D844d, with no admin key and no owner withdrawal
- nothing is hidden. anyone can verify the mechanism and lock onchain, which is the opposite of a hidden bundle
- charter drops cant be dumped instantly. the tokens are split across every charter holder, not one wallet, and holders only receive their share by burning their charter. it's a public token lock with a real cost to unlock, not free supply ready to hit the market
were glad bundled tokens are being policed, but if this counts as a bundle, we'd urge you to look at the majority of the other tokens in this competition
as a side not, over 4M USD of tokens has been airdropped to charters and we've seen less than 5 charter burn to receive the airdropped tokens
since we're on the topic anyway, let's talk about market cap versus liquidity on charter drop tokens. dashboards count the locked 80% in market cap, so the market cap to liquidity ratio looks thin
but, measured against tradable supply, the pool is deeper than on other launchpad tokens since the same amount of liquidity supports a much smaller float, because most of the supply is locked. treating locked supply as tradable gives a misleading ratio
