Tired of using multiple plugins just to toggle crawl and rendering features for SEO testing? I was too — so I built a Chrome extension to do it all
I'm excited to announce SEO Toggle 🎉
A simple Chrome extension that lets you:
🔄 Disable JavaScript
🎨 Disable CSS
🖼️ Block images
🍪 Disable cookies
📱 Simulate mobile devices
🕵️♂️ Change user-agents
🐢 Throttle network speed
— all with quick toggle switches, no DevTools needed.
✅ Ideal for SEOs, devs, and UX teams who want to simulate how search engines or users experience a site in different states.
👉 Free on the Chrome web store: chromewebstore.google.com/de…
I'd love your thoughts — and please like and share if it helps you or your team!

After all the panic in the SEO industry yesterday - Google Search Console is back to normal.
The graph in GSC was trying to plot the current day and as there was no data it was showing a big drop. The date is now showing up to Sunday (2 days behind).
Attended my first @SearchNorwich last night and what a line up it was. Huge thanks to @g33konaut @CrystalontheWeb for your amazing talks, I was not DISSappointed. And huge thanks to @thetafferboy @JLWChambers @candouragency for hosting.
For the first time in years, I searched for "Google Webmaster Tools" instead of Search Console.
I could reminisce about some old tools like Parameter Handling. Which other ones do you miss?
So, ahrefs have decided to move away from their reseller FastSpring and use Stripe instead.
This means they will no longer accept Bank Transfer (as well as PayPal and Amazon Pay) and only accept credit card payment.
This seems an odd move to me, especially for Enterprise clients working on an invoice basis who don't use Credit Cards.
Thoughts?
Hi @ahrefs are you sure the rollout of 'AI Overview SERP features' hasn't impacted Organic Traffic numbers? I'm seeing starkly different numbers before and after. These screenshots were taken 1 week apart. Any other explanation for this?
Looking forward to heading south later for @brightonseo. A chance to learn, meet old friends and make new ones.
Shout if you’d like to meet up to talk shop or just to say hi
🚨 Great news for all using Robots Exclusion Checker! 🚨
The Chrome extension is getting updated to align with Google’s new Manifest V3. So No, it’s not going anywhere! 🙌
Expect some minor bugs as we roll this out, but rest assured, we’re on it. Thanks for your patience and continued support! 🛠️

Today we released the August 2024 core update. It continues our work to improve the quality of our search results by showing more content that people find genuinely useful and less content that feels like it was made just to perform well on Search.

When I was young, the UK summer holidays would guarantee two things:
1. A decent amount of hot sunny weather ☀️
2. Thunder bugs ▪️
Where did all the Thunder bugs go?
📈 Popular Products Surge on Google!
About a year ago, Google started highlighting Popular Products for searches with a purchase intent. Today, this feature is more visible than ever! 🚀
If you’re in Ecommerce and haven’t yet tapped into this, you could be missing out on sales. 💸
🔍 The data shows a significant spike in this SERP feature earlier this year. And as of last week it hit a record high (UK market).
