The Djinn and I is an animated buddy comedy that I’ve been developing. A daydreaming boy and a magically inept young djinn are bound together by an ancient contract. One may be a being of fire and the other of clay, but they find that they aren’t completely like night and day.
Watched #avataraangthelastairbender on #paramountplus and the movie is everything I could have ever wanted and more. I got really emotional seeing the characters I fell in love with all grown up. Lots of tears, lots of smiles and even some gut-busting laughter.
Went to watch #ToyStory5 with my daughter on Father’s Day. It’s my favourite @toystory since 1 & 2. Fun and relevant — we both really enjoyed it. It’s worth the price of admission just to watch @ConanOBrien voice Mr Smartypants.
My family and I absolutely loved #SuperMarioGalaxy! It was a delightful dopamine-infused romp and I’m ready to watch it again! Awesome animation, voice-acting, music and tremendous fun! Got home to find these lovely oversized amiibos got delivered too! @illumination @Nintendo
Watched @projecthailmary in glorious 70 mm at @BFI #IMAX. I love the book by @andyweirauthor and @chrizmillr and @philiplord bring their signature wit and charm to the movie adaptation. And @RyanGosling was simply amazing — such a warm and funny performance.
#StrangerThings is the best show of my childhood… even though it came out in my adulthood! It’s like some weird wormhole of a show that connects both past and present with waves of warm nostalgia. And it just concluded with a deeply, satisfying finale. #StrangerThingsFinale
It’s about time @netflix !
Watched a terrific panel on the bts of #KPOPDEMONHUNTERS by @maggiemkang and @dairysnake . This was one of my favourite sequences in the film and live-action could never capture the comedy, tone and snappiness here. Pretty much why live action Airbender has never worked for me.
‘KPOP DEMON HUNTERS’ creator Maggie Kang says she doesn’t think a live-action remake would work.
“There’s so many elements of the tone and the comedy that are so suited for animation”

Loving the new season of @JamesGunn ‘s #Peacemaker . @JohnCena is so wonderfully brilliant in the role it boggles the mind.
End credit needle drops for #AlienEarth have been 🔥. Songs by Black Sabbath, Tool, Metallica, Janes Addiction, Smashing Pumpkins, Godsmack, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam. Lyrics make it seem like @noahhawley time-travelled to the past & commissioned them for the show!
I demand merch from #KPOPDEMONHUNTERS . And action figures! @netflix can we please have action figures and dolls— it would be a travesty not to make them. @maggiemkang do you know if there are any plans for toys? Thank you so much for this wonderful movie!
I heard about #KPOPDEMONHUNTERS at @annecyfestival . Came back and told my 9 year old we should watch it when it comes out. She refused but then her friend gushed over it recently and she watched it like 20 times without me! We finally watched it together and I love it so much!
Things are “looking up” for the DC Universe. Loved loved loved @JamesGunn #Superman movie. Delightful, warm-hearted, kind-spirited, action packed and just fun. Goes full comic booky with panache. David Corenswet really embodied the character brilliantly and the supporting
that the movie established and at no point did anything take me out of it. While the battles were thrilling, I also appreciated the little touches like when Superman takes time to tell a civilian to take deep breaths after a harrowing rescue; and also when he saves a dog and a
#dccomics Absolute line has me picking comics up on a weekly basis after many many years. Have read six issues of #absolutebatman #absolutewonderwoman #absolutesuperman each and loving them. Looking forward to seeing how the other titles turn out. Great stuff @Ssnyder1835 !
The #MarvelStudios #InfinitySagaConcert transported me back to 2019, when I watched Endgame in a theater packed with fans. If you were there on opening day, even opening week, you know how it was. Superb performance by @NovelloOrch and conducted @David_Mahoney @royalfestivalhall.
I was excited about #YourFriendlyNeighborhoodSpiderMan ever since the first artwork dropped. And while I was unsure when they changed the setting to an alternate timeline, I am fully aboard now having finished the season. Being MCU adjacent allows for far more creative freedom…
and I am loving the direction and the spins on the supporting cast members and the twists in the stories. Haven’t enjoyed a Spidey animated TV series so much since Spectacular. Love the nods to the characters history such as the Identity Crisis suits (I collected those comics)…
I can’t way for more! I hope this becomes a long-running show. @MrJeffTrammell you and your team have got me hooked!
