Writing and sweating in the sauna with music from @samplette_io on shuffle. I’ve been using this app to write to samples from previous decades after I saw another talented music producer @kansasjace using it in the studio last weekend, and we made a full record with one of the samples we found.
The particular song in this video is The Door To My Mind by B.T. Express, 1977. I’ve taken up writing with pen and paper again after probably a 2 year break. I recently listened to an episode of the Huberman Lab Podcast with guest @ethan_kross and they talked about the benefits of 10-15 minutes per day of organizing our thoughts by physically writing. Also good for rapping, verbal precision, and writing clarity, which I am constantly trying to get better at.
