During the latest grindadráp in the Faroe Islands, where at least one calf suffered and bled for over a minute before death, tourists were watching from on board a British cruise ship.
During the livestream you can clearly see the pilot whale calf flapping and struggling...
A helicopter was also seen above the drive, but reports that the helicopter took part in the chase is unlikely to be true. In my first tweet i mistakenly quoted a journalist stating that this helicopter did take part, and I was thankfully reminded of this mistake.

The bolts on our car was loosened, and one wheel came off. This could have resulted in the death of several activists.

It's a misconception that the Faroese eat everything edible on the dolphins they kill. They don't. This is the end result after butchering a bottlenose dolphin just a few days ago:

"Tears" from a dead bottlenose dolphin; as time passes droplets of liquid form in the eyes of the dead dolphins. While it doesn't mean anything, it's still a strong reminder of the sorrow I feel among so many dead.
Yet another dolphin kill on the Faroe Islands;
99 bottlenose dolphins and one fetus killed today in Skálabotnur, the same place as the infamous dolphin slaughter last year.

The UK Parliament is finally debating sanctions towards the Faroe Islands because of the dolphin slaughter, one member saying "we should not accept the killing of any whale or dolphin".

Over 102 pilot whales, and more than 6 fetuses, were killed during a grindadráp on the Faroe Islands the 29th of June. Pregnant females were documented by volunteers for @seashepherd. Attempts were made to avoid getting it on camera, but:

After two episodes of Umbrella Academys 3rd season, I gotta say: They are handling Elliot Pages transition masterfully. 10/10. Def worth watching!
Today a grind was called at the Faroe Islands, but due to a combination of weather conditions and incapable hunters the whales were not killed, but swam out to their freedom.
The pilot whale was struggling to breathe, as it had gotten stuck in a narrow area close to land. In a split-second decision I decided to get into the water to help it breathe and get out. A truly life-changing experience!
