A real *just works* feature that makes everything in Granola better yeah you can see the slides, but also notes get smarter, MCP gets access. Put good context in and everything downstream gets better!

No more manually taking screenshots during meetings! Granola can now automatically capture what people screen share during meetings - whether it’s slides, charts or designs - and add them to your notes. This way you (or your agent) can remember what was shown, not just what was said.

For all you (in SF) who messaged asking how to get one of the Apple Watch straps… this is the way!!
Granola
@meetgranolaJul 30
we handmade 100 Apple Watch straps. today, we've hidden five of them around San Francisco. find them by solving the clues. here's how it works: we'll post one photo of a small detail from the city at a time. you identify, go there, take your own, wider photo. then post it in the thread. first correct photo wins. remember to look up!

All the wonderful things in the world are made up of unreasonable suggestions. Thank you @JoBarrow

When we started talking about how to launch the Apple Watch app, I made the fairly unreasonable suggestion that we work with craftspeople to create a bespoke strap to go with it. That suggestion eventually became 100 beautiful silk-and-cotton straps handwoven by a textile artist in South London, packed in custom boxes made in Paris, and taken by hand to San Francisco over the weekend. I have so much to say about how it all came together, but for right now: the app is out!! Try it out the next time you’re talking somewhere a laptop would feel ridiculous. And stay tuned, SF: we might just have a few to give away this week...

Great thread on how Granola for Apple Watch came to be
Tom Humphrey
@Thomas_HumphreyJul 28
a postage stamp screen with no battery and countless limits, vs the iPhone ? ..and yet, internally at Granola, Apple Watch notes are now eclipsing iPhone notes for in-person meetings. some thoughts from the workshop where we developed the Watch app 1 / x

Granola transcripts can now tag who said what on Google Meet and Zoom. That means clearer notes, sharper action items, and smarter answers when you ask Chat, “What did Sam say about the launch timing?” Turn on Speaker Tags in Settings.

Today marks a big step forward for us. Doing speaker attribution well has been one of our biggest requests since we launched, and makes everything downstream of the transcript in Granola better. Notes, action items, MCP workflows, you name it.
