I know there's a lot of disposable income flowing through Bristol uni, but that does not account for four Barcelonas worth of Ketamine. – at Manchester, England

I find the price of coffins and ashes caskets profane. We're literally burning one and burying the other. I want a fancy funeral, but do not pay for any form of container for me. Stick me in an old fridge so you don't have to pay the council for a large item collection. – at Manchester, England

The crazy thing about Manchester United is that I'm still surprised every time.

There must be a kind of neural imprint of a successful Manchester United that we all developed at a suggestible age, and that is immutable, regardless of how much evidence you pelt it with.

Sorry to be tediously factual, but limiting the number of painkillers you can buy at one timeis an effective harm reduction strategy. Most overdoses are impulsive. Often people are intoxicated and disinhibited. If you have fewer pills in your home you are less likely to die.

Deaths from paracetamol poisoning dropped by 43% when restrictions on the number you could buy was imposed. Most impulsive ODs aren't a premeditated and considered attempt to die, they are a scream of despair. But paracetamol will kill you either way. bmj.com/press-releases/2013/…

I cannot emphasise enough what a hideous death people suffer from paracetamol poisoning. Without swift treatment you can't be saved. You don't just drift off to sleep. You slowly die over about a week in terrible pain and vomiting blood. We must not fuck about with paracetamol.

I know the OP is about ibuprofen, but this is particularly important with paracetamol. Paracetamol poisoning is a horrendous, long drawn out, painful death. Accidentally dying that way because you happened to have 200 paracetamol in your home is a horrific tragedy.

It's actually pretty hard to die from an ibuprofen OD, but still don't do it. It'll still give you really shitty and painful gastritis.
