A last minute phone call on Friday informed teachers that the Arkansas Department of Education will not recognize AP African American Studies for course credit by the state.

When we teach the Three-Fifths Clause in the Constitution; when we teach about the Declaration denouncing the resistance of enslaved Africans and “merciless Indian Savages,” they say stop teaching CRT. They don’t want us *really* teaching the Constitution or the Declaration.

Right now, someone making $160,000/year pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $16,000,000,000. That doesn’t make ANY sense. By raising the cap on payroll taxes for the wealthy, we can increase Social Security by $200/month and fund the program through 2095.
