Bankers are the backbone of India’s financial system. We serve millions of customers, support businesses, implement government schemes, facilitate financial inclusion and keep the nation’s economy moving even beyond regular working hours.
Despite the commitment made under the 12th Bipartite Settlement dated 08.03.2024, the long-pending demand for 5-Day Banking remains unimplemented.
📌 Bankers deserve work-life balance.
📌 Time with family is not a luxury.
📌 A 5-day workweek is a legitimate demand not a favour!
With digital banking, UPI, ATMs and internet banking providing round-the-clock access to essential services, it is time to address this long-pending issue through meaningful action.

जिस बैंककर्मी के कंधों पर देश की अर्थव्यवस्था और सरकार की योजनाओं को गाँव-गाँव तक पहुँचाने की जिम्मेदारी है उसकी अपनी जिंदगी में संतुलन और सुकून कब आएगा?
लगातार बढ़ते कार्यदबाव, लक्ष्य, अनुपालन और लंबे कार्यदिवसों के बीच 5-Day Banking केवल दो छुट्टियों की मांग नहीं है यह बेहतर स्वास्थ्य, परिवार के लिए समय और संतुलित कार्य-जीवन की मांग है।
बैंककर्मियों से बेहतर सेवा की अपेक्षा है तो उनकी कार्य-स्थितियों पर भी गंभीरता से विचार होना चाहिए। बैंकिंग क्षेत्र में सामने आ रही आत्महत्या की घटनाओं के कारणों का स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अध्ययन क्यों नहीं कराया जाए?
