devs dont care about token spend. until the weekly limit hits on a wednesday 😭
For reference: worst 3 videos of my last 10 were about token costs. Devs don't care about token spend as much as you all think

hot take: "ai wrapper" isn't an insult anymore. every good product is a wrapper around something. stripe wraps banks. vercel wraps aws. the moat was never the model. it's taste, distribution and shipping speed.

I was slacking off but now it's right time to migrate to cloudflare. drop your suggestions if any to migrate next js safely to cloudflare.

this hits me deep.
I’ve been working on something new: aiforui.dev/ AI for UI has 28 skills and 20 lessons on building great interfaces with AI. More than 3,000 people have enrolled so far. It’s $299 instead of $399 until early access closes on Friday. The full course opens in 2027.

every 'just a wrapper' joke ages badly chat boxes answer you. what i want is something that runs the work and pings me when it's done alan sits over claude code/codex/cursor as that layer. i'm watching the harness layer more than the models now
🤝 Paid partnership
Today we're launching @tryAlanAI so developers can stop babysitting their coding agents. We kept running into the same problem ourselves. Even as agents got better at writing code, we were becoming glorified button-pushers for our own AI: starting every run, feeding them context, unblocking failures, and checking their work. We built Alan to change that.

Wrote an article about how I started contributing to open source in my second year of college, from messing up to eventually completing GSoC and getting accepted into LFX. Do give it a read Open to feedback <3

I really need your help on this one. For the last few months I’ve been building from my hometown. Shipping products, writing every day, posting here. It’s been great for output. It’s been terrible for everything else. I haven’t been able to meet people. I’m not in the rooms where things happen. Every conversation I have about building happens through a screen, and I can feel the ceiling. I have some big plans for the next year, and I know I can’t pull them off from here. So I’m moving. December or January. Pune, Mumbai or Bangalore. Here’s the honest part. I need a role that covers my rent and basic costs once I’m there. Part-time or full-time, both work. I’m not chasing a title. I want good work, good people, and enough to stay afloat while I build. On the dev side: - IIT Bombay graduate, class of 2026 - Full-stack. React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Supabase. React Native for mobile. - Interned at a YC-backed startup - Built a startup’s entire tech solo for 7 months - 6 months as a frontend engineer at Chronicle - Shipped multiple products of my own since, some of them making money The fundamentals are solid. 300+ LeetCode problems, 1400+ on Codeforces, 1700+ on CodeChef. But where I’m even better is shipping. I build fast with AI coding tools, and I know how to make a product people actually want to use. And the part most devs can’t offer: I’ve cracked distribution. - 15M+ views on X in the last 16 months - Multiple product launches, thousands of visitors each - 1,000+ concurrent users on a site I launched recently - 500K+ views on that one launch post So you’re not just hiring a developer. You’re hiring someone who can build the thing, ship it fast, and get eyes on it. The audience I already have can help push your brand from day one. If you’re hiring in any of these cities, or you know someone who is, please reach out. DMs are open. Even a referral or an intro would mean a lot. And if you’re in Pune, Mumbai or Bangalore and just want to grab a coffee when I land, tell me that too. That’s half the reason I’m moving. A repost helps more than you think. Thank you. Really.

Just had communication from customer support Kishan from @IDFCFIRSTBank. He helped me with my concern and the first time 99 Rs processing fee is completely waived off 😋. This made my day tbh. I also acknowledge my mistake of not checking terms and condition. But I think nobody checks that deep. So, a little suggestion from my side would be to communicate it with customers while they apply for cards on website or via call or whatsapp. And customers can read reviews on reddit, yt videos and do quick gpt for details. Thanks @IDFCFIRSTBank for your support.
Just redemeed my idfc points and got this 250 Rs flipkart gift card. But was it all with points only?? Well no, 1000 points + 99 Rs + GST. So technically i got 150 Rs from point. Or was it? Well for rupay enabled card we need to pay some 200 etc amount. All in all what i found is @HDFC_Bank pixel credit card offers better reward points and no charge one redemption. For now i will stop using my idfc cards and start with hdfc pixel credit card and lets see how that works out.
