This demonstrates the power of activism. As soon as Brown announced it was cutting men's track/XC, supporters around the country sprung into action. People like @savebrowntrack and @DancingDinks spoke out and spread the message. 12 days later, the program was saved.

Everybody loses, but no one loses more than black and brown athletes. And she admits in the email that she would have cut the team with the largest number of black and brown men if she were allowed to. Shame on you and shame on @BrownUniversity.
