Deadline is Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 5 PM. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on the community -- especially if you are a San Bruno resident! Posy Park is at the north end of the San Mateo Avenue downtown area in San Bruno. It is adjacent to the San Bruno Caltrain stop's southbound platform. This sculpture will be seen by those dining downtown, commuting by train, and biking along or driving through San Mateo Avenue. 🚧Saturday Road Closure on Linden Avenue and Angus Avenue🚧 Heads up San Bruno! On Saturday, March 22, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the City will close parts of Linden Ave and Angus Ave to perform street rehabilitation work. Impacted areas include: - Linden Avenue from Angus Avenue West to Jenevein Avenue - Angus Avenue West from El Camino Real to Linden Avenue This work is part of the City of San Bruno's Street Rehabilitation Project, which is steadily improving the quality of our local pavement infrastructure. #paving #SanBruno #roadclosure

🎨Call for Artists Community Art Gallery Program🧑‍🎨 The City of San Bruno Community Art Gallery Program encourages artistic expression and fosters a greater appreciation for art in our community. Artists are invited to submit applications to exhibit two-dimensional work in the San Bruno Public Library’s main reading room. Accepted artists receive a $250 stipend. Applications may be submitted individually or as a group. Preference will be given to local artists. Deadline for submissions is Thursday, April 10, 2025, 6 PM. ☀️Hey San Bruno! 📚 The San Bruno Community Foundation (SBCF) granted $16,500 to the City of San Bruno to promote reading and early literacy while working to prevent the “summer slide,” where students lose some of the literacy gains they achieved during the previous school year over summer break. SBCF President Malissa Netane-Jones attended the City Council's regular meeting last night to present the grant cheque. These funds will support the San Bruno Library’s Summer Reading Program by expanding and maintaining reading and literacy activities in both English and Spanish. Sandbags are avail to SB residents for pick-up from the self-serve station located at the southeast corner of the City Hall parking lot. Our crews are working to keep the City’s sandbag station filled with supplies, and will continue as long as the supplies are available.
