🥈🏆A team of #BaskinEngineering students placed second worldwide at the #ISC23, an international supercomputing competition geared toward students with prior supercomputing experience. Team UCSC was one of only two American teams selected to compete in this year’s competition.

When I first started the ESSENT project and told people I was accelerating RTL simulation, they always asked if I was parallelizing it. I wasn't. I was able to get speedups with a single-thread and was afraid of parallel. (2/3)
