These 32 #BloodBikes commemorate the 32 people killed on Bloor, Yonge & University in 20-years before bike lanes were built. After bike lanes were installed only one tragic loss of life has occurred in 6-years since 2020. Bike lanes keep EVERYONE save, not only people cycling.

The Texas Constitution bans a state income tax but nonetheless Abbott’s mailer below is claiming Gina Hinojosa will impose a such a tax. Besides being illegal, it assumes the Republican controlled legislature would support such a measure. Abbott is simply resorting to fear mongering. @bgrumet

Just brutal to see. DHS contractors just plowed through the last of the four ancient cottonwood trees in Arizona--a tree older than the border itself--to make way for a double border wall through critical jaguar habitat. A dozen protestors were arrested today trying to stop this travesty.

Border walls are coming for Big Bend. Each day, more segments are going up in the a remote and beautiful place called Box Canyon—the westernmost extent of the Big Bend region. Thursday, the construction “pause” for the national park will expire. Friday, we’ll be in federal court arguing for a permanent stop to the destruction. All eyes on Big Bend.

At the House Energy Resources committee, the Railroad Commission lawyer essentially told the legislators that it's not the agency's responsibility to figure out how to prevent new orphan wells in the future and that he had no recommendations to that effect.
