Binance Labs has emerged as the most active venture investor over the past 6 months. Notably, they've been the lead investor in 14 of 17 deals done over this timeframe. That's almost double the next closest competitor (DWF Labs, with 8 deals led) indicating that Binance Labs is playing a more active role in shaping the early stage crypto landscape during the bear market. They've also done follow-on rounds for @mavprotocol and @RDNTCapital and this week, announced a private investment in DeFi protocol @pendle_fi. Interestingly, these three protocols have made a name for themselves on Arbitrum (Radiant and Pendle) and zkSync (Maverick). This seems to reflect a shifting strategy to incentivize proven DeFi projects to expand to the BNB Smart Chain network.
