#scpol When the left tells conservatives they are making things up about culture war, its a form of gas lighting. To the left, EVERYTHING is about culture war, just simply not the framework conservatives use to address issues within the culture. To the left, it is a mix of whether something is too racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, anti-migrant, etc.
They can't allow a concept rooted in individual liberty to take hold, because it cuts against their political worldview regarding collectives being the basis to inform what good government means.
So why am I mentioning this when Republicans got beat at the ballot box over affordability and economics? Because when the left get control over the levers of power, they structure government funding along those lines. They believe the way to address the affordability crisis is to establish economic relief programs targeting oppressed groups.
Its why you saw that the left demanded racially conscious admission policies at universities at The Supreme Court. Its why you saw the former Transportation Secretary talk of racist roads. Its why you see economic grants and contracts handed out on the basis of race or gender and not on merit.
One doesn't solve the issue by flipping the coin in the opposite direction with White Identitarian philosophy, having this back and forth would absolutely tear South Carolina apart.
You defeat the dilemma entirely by understanding how the left hand, right hand of the game is played and not play it.
Take the government out of the picture by actually reducing the scope of government and its burden on the economy. Instead of trying to address obvious woke within the arts in SC and government funding for it by establishing criteria that likely is unconstitutionally vague and the woke have strong 1A claims to push back, you just stop using the government to fund the arts entirely.
That sort of play needs to be replicated in so much of government at the state and federal level, but in recent years the right moved away from that sort of thing. It needs to come back with a vengeance. Make the government the embodiment of Dave Ramsey.
One thing to slow down to harden attack surfaces and properly do AI in a security setting, but quite another to forego it entirely when adversaries are using it to launch attacks and slowing down is for political soundbites.
Hacking group uses Chinese-linked AI to hit financial firms at machine speed
India’s national cybersecurity agency, CERT-In, has issued an urgent advisory warning that a hacking group named “Crafty Falcon” is using Chinese-linked AI tools to automate cyberattacks against financial firms “at machine speed.”
The active campaign targets non-bank lenders, fintech platforms, digital payment interfaces, and cryptocurrency exchanges across the country.
Attackers are deploying highly automated agentic AI tools including ARTEX, PentAGI, Cairn, and CyberStrikeAI. Security researchers previously linked ARTEX to a Chinese developer and traced its use in similar attacks on South Korean banks.
Stolen funds are routed through “mule” bank accounts and swiftly withdrawn via standard payment channels like IMPS and NEFT, while the AI agents securely wipe digital evidence to evade tracing.
Trying to revive a “Stop The Steal” narrative in light of Tuesday is grasping for something that really isn’t there. Dems got close to POTUS election year turnout on their side while Republicans barely maintained normal Midterm turnout, hence why you had Republicans get their behinds kicked.
Plenty of reasons why it happened, but the how is easier to grasp yet harder to process emotionally.
There are plenty of solid arguments to be made about model collapse versus RSI, tech debt and malinvestment, along with ideologically hijacked safety guardrails as a reason to pause AI development so that guardrails can catch up, but you won't find them in Congress.

🚨Breaking : a 33 year old with no degrees, minors whatsoever, nor any formal coursework in basic technology, wants to "pause AI development" and have it be the"top of the Democratic agenda" 🤔
Can we get to pre-filed bills yet? I'm ready to read some bills. I'm sure my audience is ready for some commentary on the bills rather than to just read me go on all day. #scpol
This is how you know the GOP screwed it up bad: When the state of Washington, with Seattle in the mix, approved this.

Sucks for them, because they are gonna lose it when they see Charlie’s body when the saints rise. Jesus is the first born among the dead, and we are also heirs to this because of who Jesus is. They don’t own our bodies, only God does and when I am dust, the dry bones live.
Podcasters Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan can't stop laughing at the thought of digging up Charlie Kirk's corpse and "doing it" again to him.
After laughing for 30 seconds straight, the women falsely claimed that Tyler Robinson was a 'MAGA person.'
They will celebrate your death, laugh uncontrollably, and still be fully convinced they're the "good guys."
youtube.com/shorts/3-ZBz7ZUC… Brother Voddie absolutely nailed this before The Lord called him home. The left can mock Christians as much as they want, because we have God as our defender.
Yeah, if this plays at Williams-Brice, there will be war. The taters can be lame in football, but if Dems want a culture war in SC they should expect Fallujah levels of insurgency.
Gonna post a special ballad at the Georgia game this year. Performed not by me, but in a spirit of defiance both politically and in terms of sports.
Its only when the political class starts to understand that the left comes for them too for refusing to bow to the woke DSA types that they finally learn. But hey, Murkowski got that RCV in Alaska while Dan Sullivan gets blue falcon'd by her, his doppleganger and Peltola
C-SPAN: Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) on Democrats winning the Senate
"I do hope that the Democrats don't view this as a mandate to retaliate... I hope that the Democrats look at this and say, this is opportunity to lead to find solutions. And if we're going to find solutions, they have to be for the country. They can't just be for our party."
But hey, owning the GOP was worth it right?
Yeah, this week sucks if she is leaving DOJ.

In looking over the data, I think its safe to say between the MOAB of a nearly D+14 GCB and Darline causing a drag on the ballot in places, its a miracle statewide offices were held and losses in the statehouse were no worse than what they are.
I say that not to be cruel to Darline, she was asked to do something and was mourning the loss of her brother. The brief moment I spoke with her, she came across as genuine and kind but the election was trying to make the best of a bad situation. I genuinely wish her and her family well.
The consultants though, they are already out there trying to line up to where they can find their next grift. Here is a hint: The Dems won't need you anymore now that they have Andrews able to direct funding for projects all over the state. There is a base that needs repair, and there is going to have to be plenty of give in order to actually rebuild, and that includes taking the base seriously, even if you have to sit there and explain in extra words why something is rather than just hand waiving them away. #scpol
