The entire Ji family pretends to be poor to test her intentions, and everyone comes up with the wildest ideas, making the whole process absolutely hilarious. But Wen Yan turns out to be a genuinely good person and a wonderful mother. Han Yutong's character is such a clear-headed woman! As expected, the eldest grandson and Wen Yan had been set up all along by her older brother, who played both sides and deliberately created misunderstandings between them. Once the truth finally comes out, after five seasons, Duoduo finally gets her mother! And in the second half, here comes ANOTHER new grandson! Ji Lindong (Shi Kang) turns out to be the fourth grandson's (Wu Tianhao) twin older brother, with Yingbao jokingly ranking him as 3.5 😂 Honestly, I think he should be called Chen Tianxiang's (the third grandson) twin instead because those two look so alike. At first glance, he's nothing more than a blond troublemaker who seemingly can't take anything seriously. But there's a surprising twist to his identity that earns everyone's respect. He's actually an anti-drug police officer. He finally found a family to call home, but couldn't acknowledge them because of his mission. That's why he deliberately acted harshly and cut ties with the Ji family. The scene that completely broke me was when he knelt outside the Ji family home in the pouring rain to say goodbye.
