Making crude cracks about Talarico’s sexuality, then opting to dress up as a gay wizard. That’s about right.

Oh Mann.

Trump is considering lifting sanctions on the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF)—an entity described by the U.S. as "Putin’s piggy bank"—according to a report by The New York Times.
The fund is headed by Kirill Dmitriev, a special envoy for Putin on economic matters. The report states that he has offered to act as an intermediary for deals involving the sale of Russian diesel fuel to American companies.
In 2022, the Biden administration imposed sanctions on the fund, viewing it as a key instrument for the Kremlin’s international influence.
Now, the Trump administration is considering lifting these sanctions.

Im Shithole-State Norwegen fahren inzwischen 98 Prozent aller neu zugelassenen Pkw elektrisch. Man kann es gar nicht glauben. Und das Land lebt – und zwar prächtig!
Auf Norwegens Straßen fahren übrigens reichlich deutsche Fabrikate. Offenbar können die Deutschen Elektroautos bauen. Und die Norweger kaufen sie sogar. Ganz ohne deutsche Verbrenner-Nostalgie.
Sinns Worte.
Fenster auf. Atmen. Solange die Luft noch etwas taugt.

🇪🇺 @EIB, Europe's public bank, lends @Airbus €3bn. With interest, to be repaid and at competitive market condition.
@USTradeRep: a risk to the transatlantic trade truce.
🇺🇸 Washington state approved an $8.7bn tax break for Boeing in 2013, the biggest in US history. Nothing to repay.
@USTradeRep: nothing to see here.
Add also the trade deals: Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and China have pledged more than 450 Boeing jets to the White House as part of their trade deals with the US - orders decided by tariff threats, not by price. Not exactly the "market-driven" aerospace Ambassador Greer talks about.
Usual American double standard:
When US wins, it's the free market.
When others win, it's unfair competition.
Meanwhile, the WTO ruled against US subsidies to Boeing too – and Europe has kept its retaliation on hold since 2021 anyway.
One loan, with interest, and Washington throws a tantrum. Can you imagine what would happen if Europe came together and started competing, with the same tools and methods, in all the other areas?
Today, Ambassador Greer issued a statement regarding the status of the U.S.-EU deal to pause duties on certain EU imports, following a record-breaking loan from the European Investment Bank to Airbus.

The US gave Boeing billions too (tax breaks, R&D support, etc.).
seattletimes.com/seattle-news/l…
The current US-EU deal requires financing on market terms for both sides. Airbus and the EIB say this loan is a standard commercial facility on market terms.

Even ISW can’t figure out who’s doing more of the lying
It is unclear whether Putin is lying about Russian gains or being lied to by his own military—or both. Russian military correspondents constantly complain of what they call “beautiful reports” that Russian military units send to higher headquarters, claiming gains they have not made. Ukrainian forces say that they have been able to use the Russian military’s own internal culture of lying to their advantage, luring Russian troops into traps because the Russians think that they are moving through territory they control. Leaked Russian military maps show phantom gains, often matching Putin’s claims. The pervasive lying within the Russian military is a problem for Russian soldiers, but likely an advantage for Putin, as it supports his own efforts to present Russian forces as advancing and winning when, in fact, they are doing neither.

Musk, the most dangerous and repulsive oligarch in the U.S., calls for sympathy for the Russian occupiers—who are killing, raping, and robbing Ukrainians and destroying their country—referring to them as "poor conscripts."
"The endless slaughter of Ukrainians and Russians must come to an end. We should also show a little compassion for the poor Russian conscripts. These men have no choice but to fight and die in drone strikes," the tech billionaire declared.

Speed limitations on Starlink and Starshield remain in place.
The delivery of interceptor missiles continues to be delayed.
The speed limits on Starlink and Starshield are still there. The speed has not been restored. And the delivery of interceptors to protect us against Russian ballistic missiles is still delayed. We’re waiting for interceptors that were already agreed on. But they are still not coming. This is a real problem, because the Russians attack us almost every single day.
All of this is happening while we continue our quite successful operations on the front. We keep defending positions. Things have become harder – partly because of the Starlink and Starshield policies and speed limits. But our frontline is still holding and I am proud of how strong our people are.

Never forget or forgive.
Bucha. It was a genocide, recognized by everyone. They buried hundreds of people. They tortured people. We found the grave. There were, I believe, around 500 people. When we liberated those towns near Kyiv, there emerged this, you know, this kind of hatred for the Russians, right at that moment. Not even at the moment when they started the full-scale war. Back then nobody understood what it really was yet. People understood what this war was and what Putin did personally when we found those mass graves of tortured adults, children. I mean they didn't just kill them, they tortured and killed them.
When we liberated Bucha, I said, bring every journalist here. Don't touch anything, just bring the journalists. The whole world simply has to see this. Imagine finding a mass grave in the U.S. or in Britain, God forbid, with 500 tortured people, adults, kids, dogs, animals shot dead. I mean, they held hunting sprees there from military vehicles. People were running, they were shooting, just hunting, playing games. They literally just played with people, like slavery. So how, after this, can you listen to Putin? And how, after this, can you forgive?

Restrictions on Starlink in Ukraine remain in place, despite Trump’s remarks.
“We see the same restrictions; so, for now, nothing has changed,” wrote Dmytro Lytvyn, an advisor to the Ukrainian president.
According to sources cited by the Associated Press, the restrictions on the operation of satellite communications in Ukraine remain in effect.
Either Elon Musk is now doing whatever he wants in the U.S., or Trump lied—or both.
