I thought I had enough opinions about the West Side Story film (based on the trailer only 😅) and then I saw the Spanish dubbed trailer 😳😳😳
And listen, they killed Nina's mom for In The Heights, so I'm not sure if there's any new subplots/changes in the WSS movie that better justify not having real recién llegados in some of the main roles.
Language is such a key part of this story.
Imagine watching your favorite play. You don't want it to end. Imagine there could be a random chance it goes LONG. A surprise scene, a new extended ending...
This is how I feel every time a game goes into overtime. IT'S BEAUTIFUL.
