This week we had Professor Droste from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory clinic all of our orchestras! Then we had Ms. Overree, the former head director at the nationally renowned Seven Lakes HS Orchestra Program, clinic all our groups on Friday! (Reposted for correction)

At @HumbleISD Board Meeting, SC Orch members Will & Ethan were recognized for participating in All State! Ethan was also recognized for his acceptance into the National Youth Orchestra! Violist Angelina Marshall was recognized for being a National Merit Commended Student!

Congratulations to Ethan Abrahams-Nhliziyo for winning our concerto competition!!!! 🎊 Ethan will play part of the Koussevitzky Double Bass Concerto w/our Premier Orch at the spring concert!!! Zoey Houlton was the runner up playing the 1st mvmt of the Barber Violin Concerto!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Solo and Ensemble this weekend!!! 🎉 We had many Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest (TSSEC) qualifiers as well as 28 superior ratings overall! Congratulations students, parents, and teachers! 🎵🎊🎻🎶
