BREAKING: “I DON’T GIVE A DAMN”! Trump BRAGS that America is making a "freaking fortune" from soaring oil prices while Americans suffer at the gas pump – and admits his own advisers warned him to keep his mouth shut about it!
Donald Trump just delivered an astonishing speech in which he openly acknowledged that Americans are hurting from high gas prices, boasted that American oil companies are making hundreds of billions of dollars, and then declared that he didn't care one iota about how it looked.
"We're making a freaking fortune!" Trump crowed at a rally in Georgia, after describing the enormous profits he claims American oil and gas companies are raking in because of the war in the Middle East.
The funny part is that Trump knew EXACTLY how his remarks would sound to struggling Americans.
"My people said, please don't mention that, sir, because people are paying a little higher," Trump told the crowd. But when it comes to the idea of anyone making money, Trump can't resist ...
"Our country is making hundreds of billions of dollars because of what's happened in the Middle East," he declared, naming Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana as places benefiting from the oil business.
He even claimed the windfall extended to Venezuela and Greenland, boasting that America was making "hundreds and hundreds of billions, trillions of dollars."
But who is this “America” person of whom he speaks -- the benfeciary of these trillions? America Ferrara, the actress? Captain America? Amerigo Vespucci?
Trump imagined the headlines his remarks would generate, practically writing the criticism himself in a rare flash of self-awareness.
"President Trump is talking about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump," he said. "That'll be the headline."
But Trump never lets us down by not telling us how he really feels.
"But I said, I don't give a damn. I'm going to say it. We're making a freaking fortune."
Of course, there's a little distinction Trump seems determined to ignore: When oil companies make billions of dollars, that money doesn't magically appear in anyone’s bank account, unless you are an oil executive. The people suffering at the pump AREN’T sharing in any profits.
Trump again promised that oil prices would fall dramatically once the war ends, but offered no evidence of how or when that might happen.
Trump talks about the oil executives making billions as though their profits were his own personal triumph. He celebrates their windfall with unmistakable enthusiasm and even envy, even as he acknowledges that ordinary Americans are paying the bill for billions in profits.
He knows exactly how that sounds. He recited the criticism himself, practically word for word, before announcing that he didn't give a damn. And went right back to bragging about the money.
This is not the kind of president America wants or needs.
Vote Blue on November 3.

Russian citizens accused of illegally obtaining citizenship go on trial in Romania.
Those under investigation include former top executives from Sberbank and Rusal, as well as an associate of a senior figure at Gazprom.
The Romanian Public Prosecutor's Office has brought cases to court against 16 Russian citizens, who are accused of using forged documents to obtain Romanian citizenship and passports.
According to investigators, more than 1,700 fictitious registrations were allegedly carried out between 2023 and 2024.
The scheme operated through the use of fake Romanian citizenship certificates. Based on these documents, birth certificates, personal identification numbers, identity cards, and passports were subsequently issued.
The Public Prosecutor's Office is seeking the annulment of all documents obtained through this fraud. Six individuals have already reached plea agreements, admitting their guilt.
The names of the 16 defendants have not been officially released. However, Romanian media have previously reported that the investigation involves former executives from Sberbank, Nefteprombank, Sibur, and Rusal.
Among them is reportedly Kirill Seleznyov, the former head of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, who is considered to be very close to Alexei Miller, the CEO of Gazprom.
In total, the investigation could eventually involve approximately 300 Russian citizens.

Police called on 3 year old Black boy—for being "too good" at soccer.
Officers escorted his family away in front of all the other kids.
After league had them tresspassed from the field.
“They really called the police on a 3 year old because he had the ball too much," dad said.
The young athlete was already playing in a league with kids 2 years older than him.
Other parents on the opposing team are heard on video claiming the kid was "trying to put on a show."
His mom replied, "Those grown ups huddled up talking about my son... but he ain't doing nothing but playing soccer."
