We are preparing for November in our class. 🍁🍂 #letters #learning #engaging #Kindergarten #teachingwyourbff
Today I was lucky enough to chaperone my son’s field trip. Way to make learning fun Mrs. DeGroff and @TheLarkspurMS !
Today we honored a man, a hero who meant so much to so many. My heart bleeds for his family. Just about 18 months ago I lost my hero to occupational cancer. I don’t want to see any more first responders lost to cancer.
This has got to end! There are many ways that we can help to honor our fallen and their families. One of the ways to help, is by reaching out to our nation’s representatives and demand change.

For the past two days, the VPFF joined the families and survivors of our fallen firefighters on Capitol Hill to lobby for the passage of the Honoring Our Fallen Heroes Act (S.930/H.R.1719).

Thank you @RepSpanberger for meeting with the VPFF, the @IAFFofficial, the @vfca and the families of our fallen firefighters this week.
Your true empathy for our families and the heartfelt gift you presented to the son of one of our fallen firefighters will not be forgotten.

The VPFF appreciated our meeting with the office of Senator @MarkWarner on behalf of the families of our firefighters. We hope he will join our efforts to pass S.930, the Honoring Our Fallen Heroes Act, providing benefits to the families of those who die from occupational cancer.
The feelings during morning meeting are simply awesome. 😊Kindergarten is really THE BEST place on earth. ❤️⭐️
Thank you Senator Rouse. #MRC💪🏽❤️😇 #LIVELIFEATA10
This legislation takes an important step to ensure we take care of firefighters and personnel who respond to emergencies that expose them to toxic materials. I look forward to continuing to work with the @TheVaPFF to get this necessary funding for our heroes on the front line.

There’s still some more work to do on this issue, but it is a greatly appreciated step in the right direction. Thank you Senator @AaronRouseVaBch for getting this bill to @GovernorVA ‘s desk. @VirginiaBeachFD 13newsnow.com/article/news/l…
