We closed our first deal with Grok @bot this week 🚀
My business has a very traditional sales cycle that often takes months to cultivate and close. We pointed Grok Bot at our tools and it surfaced past prospects/customers for my AE’s to reach out to. Two weeks in we have our first closed/won deal.
Without Grok Bot we most likely would not have reached out to this past customer. With Grok Bot it pulled this customer from the haystack and surfaced it to my AE who simply reached out, pitched and closed.
It’s absolutely amazing! Thank you @elonmusk.
Thank you @mattyp for showing us what can be done with Grok Bot.
We've had @salesforce for 15 years, and most of what we know about our customers left with our employees.
The notes are in there. The context usually isn't.
We are finally tipping the scale back in the direction of our business, because of AI. The data we've collected for years has always been our #1 asset, but it's been trapped.
Today it's not 😃
The signals that found our first Grok @bot deal weren't fancy.
How long since we last talked to them.
How big their pipeline was the last time around.
Whether we still had a line to the decision maker.
We've had 10+ years of data in our CRM and never stacked those three together.
What signal would you look for in your own data?
Who's moved from AMEX to @XMoney and what's the biggest benefit?
I'm still using Platinum for most things as I get points, purchase insurance, lounge access (which is terrible these days).
I'm not seeing the benefit yet of XMoney.
A lot of you saved my Grok @bot deal post, so here's exactly how we set it up.
We connected the tools we already use: @Salesforce, @Slack, @Google Workspace, data enrichment, and PSA. We told it the signals we care about, like past customers who went quiet and prospects who never closed.
Every morning my AE's get a message in Slack with a list of Accounts to follow up with. We take it one step further and have Grok Bot draft an email with context from our tools.
For the deal we closed, my AE reached out, pitched and closed.
What's amazing is none of this was new data. The deal was already sitting in our CRM. We just never would have found it.
What would you point it at first?
Piping new deals with Grog @bot is awesome. If we scale bots do we scale pipe proportionality. We’re going to find out this week 🚀
We are winning with AI.
We are actually winning deals because of Grok @bot
Thanks @SpaceXSI for building this amazing tool and a shoutout to @mattyp for the awesome posts on how to use it 🙌

What's one task you stopped starting from scratch because AI does the first pass now? Mine is RFP evaluations.
Last week I had a handful of new RFP's to evaluate and I asked Grok @bot to help.
Did everyone have a spike in Grok @bot usage over the weekend?
My usage seems to be the same as days/weeks prior. I wonder if that hit certain use cases?
Job seekers use AI to send hundreds of applications. Companies use AI to screen them out.
Feels like two bots having a conversation neither side wanted.
When I hire, the best people still come through someone I trust. Is the referral becoming the whole system?
Hiring question: do you hire someone who's great at the job, or someone who's great at getting AI to do the job?
Last year those were the same person. Not sure they are anymore.
Something I'm seeing: AI demos that wow people are about writing. The ones that actually stick inside an org are about finding things.
Where's that file. What did we promise this client. Who already solved this.
Maybe the first real AI win at work is just never having to ask "does anyone know where..." again.
