Sometimes I walk out here for really no reason at all. The Texas Capitol is just beautiful and belongs to poor children in east El Paso County as much as it belongs to a hedge fund manager who lives in Highland Park. God bless us all.
The Republican mayor of Fort Worth - GOP nominee Bo French's home base - endorses Houston Democrat Jon Rosenthal for Texas Railroad Commissioner #txlege
"Jon Rosenthal is the right choice for Texas Railroad Commissioner. Jon has the experience, proven leadership, and focus on what matters most to our state - smart regulation and policy in partnership with Texans and industry leaders. The Texas Railroad Commission is not a place for culture wars and bigotry - it’s the foundation of the Texas economy, and we cannot afford to hand it to the wrong leader. Vote for Jon Rosenthal." - @MayorMattie, Mayor of Fort Worth

It's time to have the TALK!
About 🗳 Turnout in Harris County...
Yes, the "ballot box" is BLUE to start with after three consecutive days of record early voting levels in the nation's 3rd largest county.
Now, the Cumulative Daily Total Turnout chart from @HarrisCountyRP shows the obvious that Republican turnout has not cleared 30% yet, but is up a point after 3 days to 28%.
The combination of Democrat and Independent votes has held nearly steady at 72% combined, and Monday's total included BBM that is heavily Democratic party, that party’s share declined from 50% to 46% by Wed, while Independents increased to 26% in this straightforward D & R primary voters chart. Other more complex models break up the Independent voters into leaners, and those are breaking for the Democrats over the Republicans...
3-day Early Voting is up over 73% in Harris County over 2018's. That's the last time a US Senate race occured in the mid-term and the Republican on the ballot back then got 41% of the vote in Harris County. So will this year's match-up break the high 30s percent? With hundreds of million of dollars being spent on this political campaign we'll all have a pretty good idea after 9 more days of early voting in person!
Untill then, FACTS: 400k Democratic primary voters haven't voted in Harris County along with 300k Republican who haven't, and a 👀whopping 1.7 million Independent haven't either!
So the old movie line comes to mind "Tomorrow is another day" and another day, and another day. GO VOTE!
The Republican mayor of McAllen, Texas warns that Republicans are losing the support they gained among Latinos in this region along the U.S.-Mexico border due to aggressive ICE operations.
“They view it as a crackdown on Hispanics,” Javier Villalobos told CBS News' @camiloreports.
Villalobos called it the No. 1 issue in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley ahead of the midterm elections, saying local residents are telling him “that’s going to be one of the reasons they cannot vote for the Republican Party.”
Of course he's got this in Spanish

A vote for Vikki Goodwin is a vote for Bernie Sanders. Don't let Austin liberals bring their socialist nightmare to Texas.
