That's 150 national forests, 51 bird reserves, 18 national monuments and five national parks, including Crater Lake, Wind Cave and Mesa Verde.
In May 1903 he left his cabinet and the press behind and camped in Yosemite with John Muir for three nights, starting under the Grizzly Giant in Mariposa Grove. In 1906 he signed the bill that put Yosemite Valley and the Mariposa Grove back under federal protection.
He wanted these places to belong to everyone, forever. Imagine what he'd say about what's happening to them now.

When Donald Trump took office in January 2025, the national average price for diesel fuel was approximately $3.63 per gallon.
According to the AAA the national average price for a gallon of diesel fuel today is $6.35.

With so many issues on the ballot, don't forget about Social Security.
The Democrat candidate for Senate in Minnesota Peggy Flanagan wants to tax the rich to continue to provide Social Security to senior citizens who paid into it all their lives so they could afford retirement.
But Michele Tafoya, the MAGA GOP candidate, has a different view. Like the rest of Trump's MAGA minions, she wants taxes for the very rich cut even more and to hell with senior citizens.

First his "special envoy for peace missions" Steve Witkoff, called Putin a humanitarian after Stephen Hubbard, a 74-year-old American teacher was released after 4 years in a Russian prison where he was reportedly tortured.
Then during his Michigan rally he said "Norway sucks" and it was a "shithouse country.
He even said Norwegian immigrants are not welcome in America because he didn't win a Nobel Peace Prize.
Seem like Trump is confused.
