Trying to analyse a Liberal budget is mind-numbing. Dozens of new programs and spending items, many of which intrude on provincial jurisdictions, that will be paid with borrowed money. A PPC government would abolish all these programs and focus on core federal responsibilities.

Here’s the end-game, buried on page 214 of the budget: the “potential” start of a central bank digital currency for Canada and all the needed control mechanisms to make it work. Don’t worry folks! You can totally trust the government to not financially enslave you, honest.
