@thameswater flooding sewage into the park on the school run again. Children, the elderly, dog walkers all have to walk through human waste daily. How long before a public health emergency?

Hey @PrivateEyeNews check out @thameswater high tech effluent re-routing systems 🧹
My twitter feed is, appropriately, a daily stream of filth. Need an E17 open sewer correspondent? Feel free to reuse glamorous turd shots CC0

@thameswater solution to their daily deposits of raw sewage across the path to the park appears to be sending some unfortunate operatives with big brooms! Does @EnvAgency endorse this method of human waste disposal?!

In May it was the same in the same location: w3w.co/verbs.wisely.onion – at Walthamstow, London
#thameswater flooding us with #sewage #sewer again. Reported 5+ times and no fix. No maintenance. Pavement covered with toilet roll and worse.
Today's #flood of @thameswater #sewage flowing into Lloyd Park #E17 no end in sight for our dangerous daily flow of pollution. Any ideas from @stellacreasy, @wfcouncil or @EnvAgency on holding them to account for risking public health daily?

If only there was a company who owned the infrastructure who could fix the drainage and sewer system instead of cleaning the mess and waiting for the next time. Know anyone @thameswater ?
So far the only solution to @thameswater spilling sewage into the park every day is barriers so families on their way to school wade through the shallow sewage and when it stops raining there are fewer (but not zero) human faeces in that area.
@wfcouncil @stellacreasy ?!

@wfcouncil waste public money insisting bedding plants get thrown away. Park keepers banned from passing them on! Saw a joyless council member having a real go at the park keepers who are working so hard to grow beautiful plants to brighten our days.
At a time when cuts mean there's no budget for the nice things in life, wouldn't it be more sustainable and better for the community to share plants that could have months or years more joy to give?
All you'd need is a mention in the council email and socials and locals and community groups could come to collect. Think of how community centres, schools, gardens, porches and patios could be cheered up with what @wfcouncil throw away 🥺

@thameswater spilling raw sewage at the entrance to Lloyd Park for the second time in a week. They say there's nothing they can do to stop it, so who holds them accountable? @stellacreasy @EnvAgency ?
Children have to walk to school through this!

@thameswater cannot get their shit together. We've had YEARS of this whenever it rains at the entrance of a park used by hundreds of people daily. The latest solution seems to be to place barriers, as if that'll stop the flow... @EnvAgency @wfcouncil

Beware of @santanderuk's woeful lack of safeguarding for vulnerable customers in branch. Their basic scams check is no more than legally covering their arses and their scams team say that because the @TheFCA don't make them they don't have to care.
It's such a shame as the branch staff are in the perfect position to spot and support victims of horrible scam artists, stopping scamms in their tracks, but without the proper training and policies from @santanderuk they're letting scammers ruin lives.
The police say they'd be happy to attend if there is ever any doubt that someone might be in trouble and that other banks call them to speak to customers if they are concerned. But it's @santanderuk's policy not to bother.
