October is Economic Education Month! Give the Teach Economics podcast a listen! @svaneksmith @petercoy @EconWendy
About half of U.S. college students who have taken one econ course never take another one. Should introductory economics focus on math-heavy models — or on how core concepts can help students understand the world? A blog post including insights from educators and other experts explores the question #EconEdMonth #TeachEcon bit.ly/4s1XPNW

Great post by @scwolla. 26% of college students take an economics course. For half of them, it is their first and last course. What do you want them to know? Only 2% of principles students become majors. We need to teach to the other 98% #teachecon stlouisfed.org/open-vault/20…

Saint Louis 6’6 Junior Kellen Thames has been one of the most underrated players in college basketball this season. Thames has been one of the biggest standouts on a 16-1 Saint Louis team averaging 10/6/2 and 2 steals a game in only 18 MPG. Thames is also shooting 72% from the field. Thames is one of the most impactful two way players in the country, he uses his elite athleticism and frame to make plays on both ends. Thames has a high motor and plays extremely hard, attacking passing lanes on defense, going after offensive, and defensive rebounds, and is an elite off ball player. Thames is also a skilled driver and passer who has the ability to create for himself and his teammates. Thames is also one of 2 players since 2008 to have a TS% of 70, an AST% of 20, and a STL% of 5.
