#adhd fact of the day: many adults w ADHD struggle w chronic feelings of guilt or shame, whether it be about friends they've let down, attempts to manage themselves better which failed, or things they said they were going to do that they didn't. Getting support is important!

My ADHD: There was a box? How big was it? What was in it? Was it a gift? Was it for me? Was it for someone else? Wait, was I supposed to bring a gift for someone? Why didn’t anyone tell me?
My brain: I have an amazing idea.
Me: Really? Let’s tell someone.
My ADHD: Don’t forget to start in the middle, be really vague, forget what you were talking about and then get really upset when no one understands you!
