Giving thanks for a full complement of Archdeacons with the collation and installation of the Archdeacon of Reigate The Revd Dr Geoff Dumbreck at Choral Evensong: Geoff may the Lord bless you and make his face to shine upon you as you embark on archidiaconal work and ministry
Epiphanytide is a special time to reflect on inclusion and widening horizons. The Magi remind us that learning is not for a select few. Every child brings gifts, questions, and potential. Our role is to notice them and create environments where they can grow + flourish.
Wishing all our families, communities, staff, governors and our fabulous learners across the @sdbemat a Happy New Year.

Benefit of having one of your offices in a sch - get to enjoy a cracking Xmas lunch with chn and parents, and get to read to a few children after. Absolutely love our @sdbemat schs and never tire of thinking how lucky I am to do the job I do. Thank you @StPaulCofE for having me!

Today we dressed up as characters from the Christmas story as part of The Great Big Nativity in aid of Sparkfish. We had at least 35 shepherds, 47 kings, 76 angels, 6 Marys, 5 Josephs and Sid The Donkey

It is always a beautiful way to start off #Advent2025 with a visit to St George the Martyr for the @SouthwarkCofE's Advent Eucharist led by the @BishopSouthwark.

I always enjoy visiting schools so it was a real pleasure to spend time with the pupils at @StJamesHatcham last week.
I was treated to some brilliant singing, dancing & debating, plus important updates on their school projects.
Thank you Ms McFarlane & team for welcoming me!

An absolute must read. The voices of 3000 young people from across schools and colleges in London and the South East and a cracking piece of research by Vivienne and her team at @LSEColleges, @LSEAcademiesT. A call to action for all who work in/or are involved with the sector.
🗣️ 'We heard from 3,000 young people - and theirs are thoughtful, grounded priorities'
@LSEAcademiesT group director of policy and research, Vivienne Avery

I never realised how beautiful @Southwarkcathed is without chairs (removed for the stunning light display that’s running at the moment). In the decade I have been coming, I have never seen it without. No better place/way to start a week. #morningprayer @sdbemat @SouthwarkCofE
