Problem is Mendoza doesn’t fix any of the real problems. Maybe his mobility helps extend a few plays but there’s so many flaws he’s setup for failure.
Kirk has been mostly good too, can’t even say he’s why they’ve lost the past 4 games.
Klint Kubiak on when the Raiders will start thinking about starting Fernando Mendoza, via @samwarren83:
"I think at this point, we’re thinking about everything. How to fix our problems, how to fix our issues in the red zone, in the third quarter. Personnel, scheme, we’ve got to talk about all of it."

It’s 1000% worth talking about now because clearly there’s more to this story. I was wrong, I thought it was a load of nothing but it’s impossible to ignore the signs now.
I really don’t know why you were so low on them. Good luck trying to guard these guys in the final 5 minutes of a game.
He has to get to the rim more. Same issues as last year, not enough rim pressure and no real shot creation outside of Pritchard and Tatum.
What was your expectations then if they’ve underperformed? lol Like seriously, they’re 15th in yards and 6th in points. Did you expect them to be a top 5 offense?
Underwhelming? They have the worst receiving core in football and a below average offensive line. They’re 6th in points scored, not sure how much more they can possibly do. Especially when you take into account the QB can’t throw the deep ball well and isn’t mobile.

BJ’s has these AI generated sports videos on their TVs and nothing prepared me for the wannabe Kobe at the end
It feels like it’ll be SGA, Wemby or Luka. All these guys are fun because they’re long shots but none realistically have a shot
