Following an open and honest conversation with manager Jamie McClurg, we can confirm that Sean Swift has decided to leave the club to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
Swifty joined the Blues at the beginning of last season and went on to captain the side as we reached the play-off final.
A hugely popular player both in the dressing room and on the terraces, Swifty has been a fantastic ambassador for Fleet Town, both on and off the pitch, always going the extra mile and making time for our supporters.
Everyone at Fleet Town would like to thank Swifty for everything he has given to the club and wish him every success for the future.
Jamie McClurg said:
“Swifty’s attitude has been first class ever since I walked in the door, and myself and the management team have a huge amount of respect for him.
“He leaves on very good terms and with our very best wishes for the future.”
Thank you, Swifty. 💙

A very special thank you to Adam Bowyer, who is sponsoring Sean Swift for the 2026/27 season in memory of Fred Goodyear. 💙
Player sponsorships are a fantastic way to support the club, but sometimes they mean something more — and we’re incredibly grateful to Adam for choosing to support Sean and Fleet Town FC in Fred’s memory.
Thank you, Adam, for your support, and a special tribute to Fred Goodyear from everyone at Fleet Town FC. 🔵⚪️

Joining us from Redhill last season, Swifty is back to build on a great first season with the club last year.
A huge part of last season’s midfield and we’re thrilled to have him back at Fleet Town FC for the 26/27 season!
Welcome back to Fleet Town, Swifty!
Yhhh so good 😍
We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Seb Karczewski from @HanworthVillaFC.
Seb is a fantastic player and at just 22 years old, we are delighted that the former Leatherhead & Chertsey Town striker has chosen to play his football at the RPS next season 🍊
