#NSM (Norwegian National Security Authority) has confirmed that the #Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile #EPMM product, which is being used by all 12 ministries in the country, contains a #zeroday to breach published with the code CVE-2023-35078. Cyberthint's threat hunters found that more than 3,200 systems worldwide were affected by the #0day vulnerability. Germany, the UK, Hong Kong among many other countries, have been identified as hosting the affected systems. The #vulnerability is an #unauthenticated vulnerability that allows access to certain #API paths without the need for #authentication, allowing personally identifiable information (PII) to be easily obtained on the systems. EPMM administrator authorized accounts can also be created with the same method. Ivanti EPMM has released the valid security #patch for vulnerability CVE-2023-35078. It also announced that all organizations using the product should apply the patch as soon as possible. The released patches can be installed by upgrading to EPMM product versions 11.8.1.1, 11.9.1.1 and 11.10.0.2. It was also announced that all versions lower than 11.8.1.0 are directly affected by the vulnerability.
