Seldon Ink

A perfect "page" pairing with our Sunday morning coffee:-): Thanks so much to Adam Parker at Charleston's Post and Courier for his kind coverage of the release of CAROLINA'S RING at the Pat Conroy Literary Center, Wednesday, Februrary 15th.

500-plus copies of CAROLINA'S RING just arrived at Seldon Scene with a thud, just in time for the FEB 15 launch party at Beaufort's Pat Conroy Literary Center and followed by more than a dozen events in the Carolinas and Virginia. We're psyched here at Seldon Ink!

What a fun CAROLINA'S RING interview with WHHITV at the Pat Conroy Literary Center. whhitv.com/clips/N6GR22AVjMs…

This pic makes me smile, in that it's with the three people who most influenced CAROLINA'S RING. Great Love!

CAROLINA'S RING Spoiler Alert: One of the main characters in the new novel is named Ben because he was conceived at a certain famed Army post in Georgia.

Many of you know that much of CAROLINA'S RING was written in the book-lined office of Pat Conroy. It was a blessing.

Another much-appreciated CAROLINA'S RING blurb to share: “Lynn Seldon’s new novel is an insightful and deeply moving account...An additional (and fitting) bonus is a cameo by Pat Conroy, who, like Lynn Seldon, understood the bond of those ‘who wear the ring.’ Bravo!” — Ron Rash

Opening line of CAROLINA'S RING: "My name is Ben and I wear the ring." It pays homage to mentor Pat Conroy's first sentence in THE LORDS OF DISCIPLINE and is similar to the first line in VIRGINIA'S RING.

Another great cover blurb for CAROLINA'S RING: “Carolina’s Ring is an unforgettable story of love, loss, and redemption that will stay with you long after the final page is turned.” — Cassandra King, Author of Tell Me a Story: My Life with Pat Conroy

Two major "life events" in CAROLINA'S RING take place at Soby's New South Cuisine in downtown Greenville, SC. Soby's and owner Carl Sobocinski hold special spots in our lives as well.

We find it so fitting that this morning's first major coverage of the FEB 15 publication of CAROLINA'S RING was in Lynn's hometown of Winchester, Virginia. Thanks to Winchester Star writer Brian Brehm! winchesterstar.com/wincheste…

The Seldon Ink Book Report: Bells for Eli (Mercer University Press), by Susan Beckham Zurenda, is a masterful novel we won't soon forget. Highly recommended!

As many of you know, we love books here at Seldon Ink. So it was great to hear from Garden & Gun Editor in Chief David DiBenedetto (@davedibenedetto) about their new online book club, G&G Reads: gardenandgun.com/ggreads ... Read On!

As Seldon Ink supporters know, we love it when people buy our books at beloved independent bookstores or signed copies directly from our website. But it's great to see CAROLINA'S RING in Pre-order with Amazon for its FEB 15 release. amzn.to/3Z87p2U

Testing @hootsuite with a general post about CAROLINA'S RING, which will be released by @koehlerbooks Feburary 15, 2023. That's me with Advance Reader/Review Copies (ARCs) "in the room where it happened."
