ALT Graphic for an Addison’s disease and adrenal insufficiency GP awareness campaign. The main heading reads, “RAISING GP AWARENESS OF ADDISON’S DISEASE & ADRENAL INSUFFICIENCY,” with “GP AWARENESS” highlighted in teal and a megaphone icon beside the heading. Below, the poster says, “We’re taking our new campaign to the RCGP 2026 Annual Conference!” Underneath, three large illustrated icons and corresponding words are arranged vertically: an eye icon with “SPOT.” in purple, a stethoscope icon with “STABILISE.” in teal, and a person supported by a hand with “SUPPORT.” in purple. A teal arrow points towards the campaign messages. The background is light grey. Along the bottom is a white band containing the RCGP 2026 Annual Conference logo. A campaign logo in the lower right corner repeats “SPOT. STABILISE. SUPPORT.” alongside the ADSHG logo and website address.

ALT Graphic from the Addison’s Disease Self-Help Group (ADSHG) with the headline “Campaigning for Safer Adrenal Crisis Care” in bold red text. Above this is a red button labelled “Patient Safety Risk.” Supporting text explains that an adrenal crisis is a life-threatening medical emergency requiring a time-critical injection of hydrocortisone. A large grey panel contains a red warning heading: “Other life-threatening conditions have auto-injectors or pre-filled syringes. Adrenal crisis doesn’t.” Additional text explains that the hydrocortisone injection process is complex and involves multiple steps, leaving patients struggling to self-inject life-saving treatment. It also states that patients’ lives are at risk and hospital admissions are increased because of delayed treatment. Below the text is a red circular illustration showing a syringe, vial and ampoule, with warning symbols. The purple footer contains the call to action “Help us campaign for change” followed by a white arrow.

ALT 3 ceramic Worry Monsters on display in an art gallery. Each monster is made from clay that has been painted with black oxides for the body and bright undertakes for its features like eyes, hair, teeth and tenticles! The main Momster is called Humphrey, he is a deceptively friendly looking monster with a big soft mouth and rounded smart teeth, one of which has been painted gold. he has tenticles for arms with turquoise blue stickers, 2 short feet join straight to his body-no legs, with 3 pink claws on each foot /toe. His eyes sit on the top of his head big yellow and round like 2 tennis balls. Humphrey is showing a sign that says PARASITE, because he is a social media monster and believes that all disabled people are parasites. A smaller monster at the front has spikey blue hair, yellow claws on its hands orange pointy toes & OUTCAST written on him in yellow letters. The 3rd monster looks a little bit like a star fish splayed out with the word KNACKERED across their chest.

ALT This is a picture of me working on Humphrey earlier in the year in preparation for the show. Here i am painting on the black iron oxide after his first firing. Im sitting in my wheelchair at a table in our work space surrounded by glazing tools, other monsters in the lettuce of being glazed by other artists and Humphrey is stood on a plastic stool and a rotating turntable to get his tenticles level with my head height for easy access to the 'tricky bits'

ALT This is a picture of my other worry monster, Stanley, the Parasite. Also labelled coverless. He's a cute looking little monster. Easily dismissed... made to feel like he is a burden on society by people around him, especially faceless people on social media platforms and politicians. Stanley doesn't have a voice because people don't think he has anything worthy of listening to. Visually he is a cute little black monster with a green belly and a pink protruding lower jaw, yellow eyes and blue bottom canines sticking up, down his back and along his wee tail to the floor he has a rainbow 🌈 of triangular spikes. He's only about 6 inches / 15cm tall compared to Humphrey's 18 inches / 45cm.

ALT A beautiful photograph of the 15 days celebration cake in the window of the gallery looking out from Durlston Castle across the solent and the English channel - The cake is made entirely from white porcelain stoneware clay and is 5 tiers high, plus a large number 15 topper, with 3 large sets of pillars between 4 of the layers. The cake is a celebration of 23 years of 15 days in Clay as a group and depicted on the sides of the cake as traditional sprigs are images of selected members of the group, past and present 'clay dogs' (Aya and Willow) images representing work from our previous public shows and significant pieces of art from the history of our group that tell our story along with our 15 logo. It's a stunning and impressive feast of engineering for any ceramic artist, let alone a group of adults with a range of learning and physical disabilities.

ALT A miniature version of the Humphrey Worry Monster, which is about 5cm tall, stands on a white wooden pedestal in the gallery, infront of the banqueting table, next to mini Humphrey on the pedestal is a ceramic speech bubble which has been stamped with letters and then wiped back with oxide to recreate the contents of an original tweet sent to me on X by @treebloodsoil in October 2025 after i explained why I had not been able to pay in to the national insurance pot in my lifetime, due to my complex medical conditions, a small handful of which I listed. This is the tweet that inspired our whole show, edible conversations. The tweet reads... "So you are a gigantic drain on on society given your health and medication needs. And thats probably the tip of the spending iceberg. The medical industrial complex has led us down a pathway by producing medicines which keep people alive who really shouldnt be. "
